what hapenned there is that Zverev made a really nice drop shot, Marat ran for itand realised he is not reaching so he dived and fell on the ground badly, I think his foot slipped. He seemed to be in quite a bit of pain as he stayed on the ground a short while but then got up and went to serve, so thank God it was nothing serious

Re: 2-1. No, there was no break. Umpire had gone mad. Zverev was serving and Marat won the first ball on his serve, so it was 0-15 and Zverev kept serving. The umpire though announced 15-0 and then kept going with the score. So we had one score on the board and the other one being announced by the umpire. When the game was over Marat went to him and told him he made a mistake. After numerous discussions with officials, they returned to score being 2-1 to Marat and Zverev serving at 40-15 and replayed the end of the game.



It was a very close match but YAY ;D ;D ;D ;D Good luck in the semis Maratik!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

P.S. Watching Henman-Paradorn...what is that t-shirt if Scrichapan??? LMAO;D He has a red Adidas one like Marat's but at the back in says Love King ROTFL ;D ;D

Hi, everyone. I've been a long time reader and I've decided to come out of hiding. Firstly, I'd like to thank all of the admins and moderators for all of their hard work maintaining the boards and for all of the fans who post pictures and news and report their experiences. You guys are all great. I'm looking forward to posting here and not just reading everyone's thoughts.

Annie, the "Love King" on P-dorn's shirt is a shout out to the king of his country. I think it's his birthday or something like that...there's some kind of celebration for him, which is why the people have all been wearing yellow...this is what I read in some article. So it's for the king of Thailand, not because Paradorn believe he himself is a love king, haha.

Also...47 errors to 24 winners for Marat? Yikes. Glad to hear he's not hurt and I hope he beats Blake to get to the final.

"He was difficult to play, he had nothing to lose," Safin told a news conference. "He was serving well with good volleys and he made few mistakes in his returns.

"He was putting pressure on me all the time. I had to go to a third set and I wasn't happy."

The Russian, who slipped out of the world top 100 earlier this year, said it was too soon to tell if his career was picking up after almost two years in the doldrums.

"I'm fighting, I'm doing things right on the court, I'm still making mistakes but I'm still there," he said.

"If I continue this way I will have the opportunity to win tournaments again. I have to wait and see."
