If Lundgren manages to bring big red to no1 in the world then he may be the best coach in all of sports history. Marat should then pay him 110% percent of every prize money he earns ;Dand that wouldnt be enough as a compensation for the nervous breakdowns he had to endure during his game and of course his loyal fans as well + I already think that Peter is the best coach (well, only in tennis, I'm not really aware about the other sports): he raised Marcelo Rios and Federer to the top, and brought Marat to win AO 2005. It would have continued this way without the injury, and I think the good old level will be back soon. And perhaps improve thanks to him. But if, as you said, he brings Marat back to n 1 in the world... Then he should give his name to tennis It would no longer be tennis, it would be "Peter Lundgren's sport" !!!! ;D ;D ;D Just spot on, and by the way I didnt even bother to mention that he is the best coach in tennis, because he surely is

Much as I have a soft spot for Peter , it's still Marat that has to deliver the goods. If he wants to improve on his game even more, he needs to stop and listen. Yes, he'll have matches where he'll blow his top, but from what I've seen over the last couple of years, he doesn't channel it enough. He does get fired up and hit some brilliant shots after he blows a gasket, but not consistently enough. He's played better when he's 'kept the heid'. This Wimbledon proved it. When he played Rusedski, it was cool, calm and collected Marat. For the first 2 sets with Gonzo, it was the same. He needs to get a grip and realise that he DOES actually play better when he's focused. Can any of us say that with anything in life we function better after we lose it? Jings, I completely lose the plot when I'm doing anything if I'm in a temper. I think that Marat should find the best way that suits him the best,I like it when he seems so calm and composed it seems really cool, but I think that he shouldnt quite rackit smashing. I think that the kind of attitude and play that he has showed in the last two wimbly edition of 2005-2006 are really how he should always play his game, the only tick is to make it last longer than 2 matches in a row

I dont think Peter should be brought into this conversation - he does his best for Marat , if he did'nt he would'nt be around - i am sure Marat and his management know what is good for him and pelle is that damn good for Marat and it the great thing is - it seems that they have a good relationship and for a coach that is the best thing you can ask for and Marat himself has said he has improved under Peter! Legato - i truly know how you feel but over time i have learn to realise that you can't have things the way you want it. you are expecting Marat to be someone he is'nt a - superhuman.Marat is human no robot and tells you tell it what you want to do. to put it simply Marat is Marat and no1 is gonna change him and why should he change - the main thing for Marat is that he is happy in life, healthy and enjoying what he is doing. That is the best remedy for success and in time it wiil come. Legato - let Marat smash as much rackets as he can, coz to be honest every1 else is scared to on the circuit and it's provides entertainment! Remember thing's can only get better not worser. Good things come to whose who wait. My expectation for the rest of this year is to get back in the top 50 or 40 and i think he will win a tournament in a place he adores and has a record that not many people can match and that is Bercy - there's a place he could beat Federer . From a fans point of view all we can do is cheer him on - nobody knows when his luck could change - who knows in his next tournament he may get the best draw possible and win. now come on TGFR lets look forward and let's pass on to Marat our positive vibe! DAVAI MARAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only tick is to make it last longer than 2 matches in a row That´s not a trick...., that´s the whole deal with Marat (and with a huge number of tennis players..., including Paulo Matthieu, G Gaudio, Nalbandian..., specially if he reaches a final or semifinal....., etc, etc)

Sorry for reading trick instead of tick LMAO!! My fault.... That{s for doing too many things at the same time... Anyway, IMHO, a lot of players (apart from Marat) don´t play their best allways... or at least not more than 2 matches in a row. EDIT: or don´t play with their best attitude.

Maybe Marat need some advices from jurgen klinsmann - look what he is doing for german football team Nooooo just kidding ;D ;D Seriously, I love Peter and all the work he is doing. I love the way he supports Marat and tries to calm him down in difficult situations during his matches. Marat and Peter are a good team!! For sure these days are hard for Marat fans as we all want to see him win and want to see him back in top 10.. I think we all have to be patient cause it will all work out for Marat. There comes the day when he starts winning a few matches in a row, then a tournament and soon he his ranking will be back But all this takes time. Until then we should for him.
