"I still have a little bit of pain," Safin said. "But it's not the same pain as it used to be and I can move without any problems. "I'm just a little bit scared because it's difficult to reach some balls. You don't really want to run because it's still in your head that some movements that I made were really hurting me a year ago. "So it's psychologically tough rather than physically." Am I allowed to still feel a little scared?....

If he hasn't moved his knee joint in a match situation for 6 months I think he could expect to have a little bit of pain. I think he worried a lot about his wrist after he came back from that injury. Hopefully once he starts playing regular matches both his knee and his mind will get used to it and start relaxing a bit more. Sometimes, if you anticipate that something will be painful you tense up,and it is! He says that the pain is not like it used to be and that it is psychologically tough rather than physically, which sounds normal considering the length of time he played through the pain last year. He needs to build up pain-free playing experiences to push out the painful ones.

When does the doubles start?? Stepanek and van Lottum finished their singles. Aren´t they playing afterwards? It´s sad that eurosport don´t broadcast the doubles also I guess I would have an Marat overdose today if they would broadcast
