Bad luck, Annie. I was hoping he would be taking his break in Russia and still be able to give that racquet to you in person but it's coming post so I guess that won't happen, dang it. Marat.......limp on over to Annie's place and...... ;D I can smile at that because my shoulder is worse then his knee.

Huggles Karen....what's with the shoulder sweetie? Torn rotator cuff I had my surgery weeks ago, 4 more weeks I can hit the courts, Woo-Hoo. Thomas Stauch is an excellent, exellent doctor I probably will have no visible scar....he is good. My 2nd surgery so we're on a first name basis now. Cassie, thanks for reminding me about Igor....there is hope for the Davis Cup.

Davis Cup is still a ways off Misha has time to recover and yes lets not forget Igor or Kolya's run at RG In any event its time for these guys grow up a little and stop depending so much on Marat to always carry them at DC. Maybe just maybe, the Russian fans will begin to really appreciate Marat instead of taking him for granted, always putting so much pressure on him. You know the saying, you never miss the water til the well runs dry. Something had to give and unfortunately it was DC. I am just so sorry that Annie will miss out as a result but feel that this disappointment somehow will turn in to one big positive for Annie I am so relieved that he now knows what's wrong with his knee, that he knows that it can be treated, that the treatment is not major, and that he gets to play Wimbledon.

If you see the draw www.daviscup.com/results/index.asp, the 4 best teams (in my opinion) are playing against each other (russia-france, argentina-australia) . I`m dying to watch an argentina-russia final!!! That would be soo cool (for me , hehe) . But they are facing incredible teams in the next tie!!!! Anyway, that means we might watch some incredible tennis soon!! You never know with DC. I have the same problem with Marat, ahahaha, I can´t predict anything (USA and Spain lost their ties!!!) ;D
