Does anyone know if marat played coria yet? Or is there rain delay. This match should be easy for him. Good luck to Marat.

Arrrrrghhhhhhhhh He won he won, this is brilliant ;D and in 2 sets WOW first set 19 MINS 10 winners Coria none ;D He won this match in like 60 mins ;D He had like 21 winners to Coria's 5 ;D Eurosports said that (during second set) Marat complained about the pressure of the balls and the umpire actually changed 4 of the balls ;D way to go baby you tell um. Its really good cause he and Roger are almost even both have 2 sets, and Marat has 12 games to Roger's 13, good good good Well done Marat, brilliant start, this is great for confidence too :'(cause of the rain delay I did not get to see the match I was all geared up to tape and all. Stupid ESPN I hate them and of course tonight they will show Andy's match I am not staying up for that!

I'm glad that Marat won but he in fact didn't play well. He won easily because Coria is out of shape and played like crap. Marat had too many unforced errors. Hope he will improve match by match or I don't think he can beat Roger.

Well, no-one can beat in-form Rogi. And I disagree about Coria playing like crap. He got into the match in the 2nd set, he wasn't bad at all. Surprisingly well after such a surgery. He has never been a powerhouse LOL. And Marat was playing just fine, serving very well. There was absolutely no need to do more vs Coria thank God. I'm sure he'll be better vs Andy and Tim. Teresa got the stats so won't repeat it. Good 1 hr work Marat! Notes - people were whistling loud when Marat argued abt the balls with Graff in the last service game and Marat grabbed the bag and left the court immediately without signing on the lens but stopped to sign for fans at the exit. Funny how Coria sat his legs crossed on the court while Marat was sorting out the balls w Graff. Then got up and Marat showed him the balls too, the shakehands was good, Marat was kinda even asking how Guille was feeling (Todo bien?). So sweet from Marat. Bless him!

I think that Perri is being a little too hard... he made some mistakes, but I think he was ok anyway. I saw the match and it was nice, too short, but I guess that's good for him, he doesn't get tired that way. It was really cute when Coria made his only ace; Marat laughed and applauded!! He's so beautiful... And it kinda bothered me when people started whistling because he complained about the balls... he was right, so SHUT UP EVERYONE! I'm glad he didn't pay attention to them. It's weird to see him so quiet and calm... I have to confess I miss the screams and the racquet breaking, but... GO MARAT!!!

OK, Teresa didn't give - 1st serve % Marat 54, Guille 74. Pretty good actually. Marat's serve worked pretty well. Some shaky moments but he kept the focus all the time. New & improved Marat! Marat 7 aces, Guille 1 (Yeah, Guille the hero! The stadium cheered!!) UEs Marat 20, Guille 17 if I remember. So Marat had +1 ratio, not the greatest stats but as I said - no need for more tonight.

Guys, I read that Krajicek said to BBC Marat is the only one who can beat Rogi, if Marat plays at his best of course.

Hope he will improve match by match or I don't think he can beat Roger. Perri I agree Marat had too many ue's but these were brought on by Coria. Coria could not find his rhythm, and as a result he messes up Marat's, and causes Marat to make ue's. But Marat did a great job of overcoming this. By all accounts, he played well, and managed to control the game. Coria did not play like crap, he just could not get a rhythm in the first set, but he was beginning to in the second. When Marat plays Roger it will be a whole different game.
