THanks Nicki! About what Marat said>>> If being no.1 isn't his goal, what is? to win Grand Slam tournaments? ... and being #1 would be the icing on the cake i dunno, i asked myself the same question when i heard that Vass... and i see no other answer so...

what a joke! Moya and Gaudio started playing more than 2 and a half hours later than expected... and they played only one point before it started raining again! well, "played"... not really, an ace by Moya that's all the spectators could see. this is from tennis-x: Houston Has a Problem with Rain at ATP Masters Cup
Posted on November 17, 2004 The rain-plagued ATP year-end event, the Tennis Masters Cup in Houston, got wet again Wednesday as play has yet to begin as of 3:30 p.m. EST. Last month Marat Safin leveled against the ATP in the media for scheduling the year-end championships outdoors on the tail end of the indoor European circuit. Luckily for organizers, Safin is not on the schedule Wednesday after yesterday defeating French Open runner-up Guillermo "El Fragile" Coria, who is coming off shoulder surgery, in his opening round robin match.

any idea who he is playing next as no info on TMC site I was wondering myself, I think its Henman, but I could be wrong......... Whatever........Its either Henman or Roddick The whole tournament is getting screwed up as it is cause of the weather, its really beginning to piss me off, and as Damita said, poor Moya and Gaudio were one point on the court when they had to go back in, its really very frustrating for them This tournament should be in doors.....but then we all know that right At least espn are not repeating Andy's match for a second time.......we are actually watching Jamaica vs USA in the FIFA world cup football qualifications........ ;D

OK, I'm not going into rules now, just that much - the winners of the first rd matches play each other, so that means Roddick next.

Annie, you saw the big screens at the both ends of the stadium, Marat said some fliashing images on them (adverts) bothered him during the play at the beginning.

Searching from www.weather.com/activities/travel/businesstraveler/weather/tenday.html?locid=77054THU 18 Partly cloudy FRI 19 Scattered T-Storms SAT 20 Isolated T-Storms SUN 21 Scattered T-Storms If the web is right, how can the Houston run? Poor players, you have to hang around and wait and wait coz of the crazy tournament commitees want to play outside. Glad that Roger can finish his match a minute ago. Hope I can see Marat play tomorrow.

Hey Nicki, any hope of a matchplay today? I just saw the floods in Texas & Houston on TV. I wouldn't hold you breathe waiting to Marat's match to start. The lovely weather map doesn't look good doesn't look very promising for Friday - Monday either there is a silver lining to all of this, i don't think we will have to worry about the year end champoinships being outside again for a few years ;D The memories of this should keep that from happening for atleast 10 years ;D
