Thanks lau for that GREAT report Having only had the SB yesterday reading your report today was like been able to see a replay of the match thanks. The general concensus (sp) is that Marat more than likely could have won that third set  The umpire, those bad line calls, and his getting angry and upset really went against him. But that's just Marat, that's just how it is and can be. He can be very funny when he is angry and can well believe you had a few laughs despite the seriousness of the moment. And I agree when you say: I wish him well over the next 2 weeks, knee wise, rest wise and whatever else wise ;D |

This was posted by a German fan in another MB. I couldn´t find it in english.... I just read on the halle website that in the doubles final Roger hit Marat on the stomach and Marat got a really big blue spot there, and proudly showed his "special memory from halle" to the public ;D ;D ;D ;D |

Lena Lau Thanks for telling me hahahhaha I have deleted my dupes too!! I was like WTF is going on......thought it was me ;D So glad to hear I am not the only one having the problem, but at least now I know to ignore it  LAUUUUUUUUUUUU ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ;D ;Dthose pics of Marat and PimPim are soooooooo gooooood........they are really great, I hope they continue playing doubles for a long time ;D Just the one at the net Marat looks a little to sad and disappointed, I think he really wanted to win the doubles, but it is soooo nice the way PimPim seems to be telling him its okay its okay The one of Marat and Roger is so touching!! Marat really has a lot of empathy and yes respect I think too for Roger. OKAY * OKAY I know I am pathetic people ;D |

Great pics and articles lau ;D That mark he has after being hit by the ball will probably be around for about 10 days and should turn a lovely shade of purple. I know what that feels like....OUCH  After seeing how well he did on grass I'm actually looking forward to Wimby this year. |

Lots of great pics, sent my avatar pic to Adidas and told them to find me that shirt Marat is wearing, gotta have it. ;D Wimby should be exciting if Marat plays like as well as he did in Halle. And hopefully it sent a message to the other players, mainly Federer and Roddick. |

Sorry I'm a little late to post congrats, but with me being banned from the internet for 4 days and the messageboard being upgraded, I haven't posted in like 2 weeks.
anyway, I'm sooooooo surprised Marat got past Popp/ Santoro/Rochus/Canas, I mean these are players he has trouble with because they can make him crazy. And he almost beat Fed, too! Actually, I'm glad he didn't win. If he won, Fed will go crazy trying to become better at Wimbledon and all. Marat just gave him enough sweats.
But I really wanted Marat and PimPim to win that dubs title. I sooo love them together. They're just perfect and those pics are too cute for words. I hope they become lifetime partners.
P.S. how did you guys get those avatars? Cause I want to have one, too.

Anyway great to have you back, just try not to get banned again before Wimbledon okay ;D I agree with what you said about Marat/Fed. If Marat had won the media pressure would have been tremendous in the lead up to Wimby and during Wimby, hopefully this way the pressure and spot light will be on Fed and Roddick and not so much Marat. I too really wanted Marat and PimPim to win the doubles and for them to stay at partners for a long time Ra has also opened a thread on avatars, so with this and nicki's help you should be okay right? |
