Acasuso and Vicente are playing their match at the moment. Acasuso is leading 7-5; 4-3 The information in argentine newspapers is that Acasuso defeated Vicente 7-5 6-4. In the ATP site and in the tournament site, it´s not the match in the results......But the doubles match that was in the order on play after the Acasuso-Vicente match in being played.... So, I supose Acasuso won....... spanish link: www.clarin.com.ar/diario/2005/04/18/um/m-959836.htm

ily sorry your guy Murray did not get through It was good exposure for him though Sorry too about Monfils. I don't even see Acasuso/Vincente match in the result for Monday ?? I thought Carlsen was supposed to beat Srichaphan? I don't understand why Moya is having such a problem his match with Nieminen should have been 2 sets no? And Malisse too, he seems to be struggling with T.Johansson....... BUT I would like to have seen Srichaphan and El Aynaoui teamed up for their doubles match, I am sure that was a fun match, they are not winning, but must have been a fun match to watch, both can be very funny on the court. Sorry mistake, its Srichaphan or Wawrinka a bit ahead of myself there

That's a great pic! So Marat will play tomorrow. I hope he has revenge on his mind for having to retire against Acasuso at the ATG World Championships final in 2003.

Top Seeds, Nadal Highlight Day Three
Top seeds Marat Safin and Gaston Gaudio along with Spanish sensation Rafael Nadal highlight the action on day three at the Open SEAT Godo 2005.
No. 1 seed Safin will start against Jose Acasuso, who won their last match in the World Team Cup in Dusseldorf 2002. The powerful Russian won the Australian Open early in the year after defeating Roger Federer and Lleyton Hewitt and has struggled since then. He comes off a third round performance in Monte Carlo (lost to Ferrero) and has a 13-4 record in the year.
2004 Roland Garros champion Gaudio will take a 2-0 lead in the series against local Spaniard Felix Mantilla. Gaudio won the last match in the quarterfinals of Vina del Mar 2003 6-2, 3-6 6-3.Gaudio has enjoyed good success on clay this year by winning back-to-back titles in Vina del Mar and Buenos Aires and comes off a quarterfinal performance in Monte Carlo (lost to Nadal).
Nadal will also make his 2005 debut on Wednesday as he takes on Gilles Muller. Nadal has seen his ranking skyrocket in the last couple of weeks after reaching the final in Miami (lost to Roger Federer in 5 sets) and winning in Monte Carlo (defeated Guillermo Coria in fourt sets. He is currently no. 2 in the INDESIT ATP 2005 Race and only one spot out of the top ten in the Entry rankings with a 30-6 record.
Defending champion Tommy Robredo will start his participation in Barcelona against in-form Alberto Martin. Robredo won their only previous meeting in Roland Garros 2004 6-3, 6-3, 6-2. After a great 2004 finishing no. 13 in the INDESIT ATP Rankings, Robredo's best appearance came in Doha, where he reached the semifinals (l. to Ljubicic). Martin has reached the quarterfinals or better in four clay court event (reached final in Costa du Sauipe). He comes off a third round appearance in Monte Carlo (lost to Coria).
