Here is the top 10 in the Indesit ATP Rankings after marat's poor performance in Indian Wells 1st Federer, R. 350 2nd Hewitt, L. 253 [glow=red,2,300]3rd Safin, M. 208[/glow] wow! only 142 below...  thanks Andrada for the article..it's great! and thanks edible for posting the draw! Well, good draws don't matter too much with Marat. He can beat anyone if he's playing well. yeah, you're right! And i'm hoping and praying that HE IS going to play well!  |

No need to aplogise Annie  LOL But yes, Hrbaty would be 3rd round and I am sure Marat will win this match. The other thing I find interesting is that there are 4 Russians in Marat's half of the draw! including Marat. Yep Igor Andreev, Nikolay and Youzhny are all in Marat's half of the draw !! Its Like Davis cup!!!.....Lets Hope the Russians will rule eh? And that Marat is the one to raise the trophy ;D  ;D BTW Hewitt is out, toe, mentioned it at IW |

Yeah well, I obviously stay positive and hope that Marat makes it. But you never know...that guy is so full of surprises!!!!! LOL
Let's hope for the best and God I hate the time difference, which yet again means I won't be able to watch matches live on TV.
Roland Garros, come quickly so that I can finally watch some tennis!!!!!! LOL

LOL Yep positive is the right spirit ;D At least I wont have a time difference prob, BUT SADLY ESPN will not cover any of Marat's matches live or otherwise unless he reaches the semi's and maybe the quarters. ESPN only covers the US players. And as I am not going to go past the 3rd round until Marat wins it ;D I am not sure when and where he will meet Andy if at all!! So we will have to follow with the scoreboard  |

Well at least according to the schedule we have on TGRF the next few tournaments will be in Europe and I will finally get to see some Safin. Dying for July when I'll go watch the Davis Cup in Moscow again. Yeeeppeee!!!!!! Time to save money LOL |

:LOL nothing we can do about the scoreboard girl, but at least we will have that. Yep from USA we go to the clay courts, and I think you will get more coverage at your end. And then as you say you have DC to look forward to you, lucky you, DC has to be the best when it comes to watching Marat. So yes save save save! Marat and Hrbaty are currently 6-6 Here is their head to head They last met at the AO 2005 and Marat beat him in 3 sets so hopefully he will do the same again, if the occassion arises , and better still, in 2 sets this time ;D The last 2 times they met 2005 and 2002 Marat beat him. What a great draw for marat as cassie said he can beat any1 on his day but this period of the season this is where he has a quiet period. not many great results but i think this could be a start no one in his draw is capable of taking a set of him.
As we know he is capable of getting a result here as he did when he lost to hewitt.
Go marat go.
BTW any news on if he will be entering in the doubles
