i think the 1st 2 are often the most forgetful for the public. i think they are more forgettable because you (and most people here) aren't from the US and probably don't very good coverage of them. I get pretty good coverage of IW, Miami, tms canada, Cincinnati and the TMC so i'm not about to forget them. But all i get to see of MC, Rome, Hamburg, Madrid & Paris is a 2 hour highlight show so those events tend to be more forgetable for people in the US. Does that make sense? lol Obviously i don't forget them, heck i can probably rattle off who has one each of the tms events for the past several years lol but i'm a tennis addict not a run of the mill fan

The TV coverage in the US of all the tournaments generally sucks, unless you get The Tennis Channel. And when ESPN does broadcast matches, it's all focused on the Americans Agassi Agassi Agassi and Roddick Roddick Roddick. Like this IW tourny, The Tennis Channel showed many early round matches and then - boom - over to ESPN and what do you get - Roddick and Agassi. During the Australian Open, I think I remember Safin playing a match, but ESPN showed a repeat of Roddick's match, like we needed to see it. I knew that if Safin kept going in the draw, we'd finally get to see him, but it took just about until the end.
(Sorry, just venting a little.)
