People sory, that I didn't post my Sunday's report on this site. I didn't have time to do it...
Here it is: When I came to the club today at ten minutes to two, the first person I saw was Marat (yesterday it was Peter). He was headed to the locker room, comming from the players lounge. He needed to do something before he went for practice with Tim Henman. I couldn't immediately follow him, because I needed to register at the reception myself. When I finally came to the locker-room, Marat was not there. I figure that he went to the men's room before practice, so I figured that I might have a long day too, and went there too. What happened next stopped me from talking with Marat before his practice. I opened the door to the Men's room and guess what... I think I banged Marat's butt with it. He chose a very convenient place to chat with another player...
On the center court, when Marat and Tim came onto it, Schuettler and Youzhny were practicing. Both were hitting pretty well. Misha has a band below his knee, but his leg didn't seem to bother him much. Later on, before Misha's second practice of the day, he'll tell me that his leg is okay and should last... He was definitely more positive than Sobkin, his coach. ** Miscellaneous note: Rainer and Misha seem to be good friends. Rainer calls Mikhail "Misha" and everything... Anyway, Marat and Tim stretched while the two players were finishing their practice match. Marat then chatted with Youzhny a bit and with Youzhny's coach. When he finally began the practice he was joking around in full force. He wasn't hitting the ball too well, but he didn't lose his sense of humour and stayed in good mood. At the beginning of the practice his serve was bad. He missed a lot serves (33% first serve in, I figure. Quote: "I miss ones, I miss twice, but I'll not miss thrice"). Henman told him to do it like he did in AO, or something, when it worked... After serving an ace after a series of misses ( he came to the net and said something said something to Henman there, after those misses) and said: "see when I think of the right stuff, it goes in... Joked about his serev when they started playing games as well: " I know that was a "turbo", but it's not my foult, it's the racket's..." -after hitting a powerful serve.
Marat's volleys were heavy today. Dropshots were . Some bounced before they hit the net... But he did have some good shots. He did always hold serve. Unlike Henman. Henman was broken atleast ones. But he wasn't great either. At one point, he bent down and it seemed like he has back aches or something. I don't know. I should have asked him though....
What else did Marat do on the practice with Tim... Hmmm. He smashed the racket to the ground, although the stupid thing didn't break. He swore and he talked a lot...
Right after the practice with Tim, he had a practice with Sauldering. He was avarage in there as well, although he would probably beat Kiefer with this game. And I still think that he can raise it easily. Anyway, he got a bit tired to the end.
Olli showed up for his second practice of the day, when the guys were about to finish. When he began his practice Marat started talking to him. Again, in the good mood. Asked him about his rankings and what not...
After this practice setion, I had seen Marat only twice the whole day and that was briefly. Ones in the corridor, after he took a shower and all, and was heading to the players lounge and then, ones afterwards when I was sitting next to the swimming pool and he passed by with some people joking and laughing... Btw. I'm pissed at myself that I didn't talk to him after the practice!
Other people whom I saw today: Rusedski and Sontoro... They were practicing together, but I didn't stay long enough to see how they were doing. I also saw Robredo. He was hitting with his coach on the center court. Maybe it's because of his weak 'opponent' or whatever, but he looked a bit better. Didn't miss much... Looks like his shoulder is okay. Btw. after hispractice I also couldn't ask him much. He grabbed a sandwitch and began chewing it. He was in no condition for a chat, considering the fact that he had to shrug to answer his own coach then...
I roamed around a lot today and I saw Lopez and Verdasco playing golf. THey made me take a pic with Verdasco.... Ferrero too was playing golf with his own gang... Sargsian played it too. Players are bored it seems, so they try to have fun at the club.
I'll post a short monday's report a bit later...
PS: people who know where I post reports may post them here instead of me, because I hardly have time.

New report from Vass! new report from Vass! Monday's (short, sorry ) report: I arrived to the club at 3PM on Monday. Roberedo was playing for one hour already, but MArat just started his practice... Unfortunately, I could not see Marat's practice, as it was held on a closed court, wrapped in a clth fromall sides. Becuase of that I went to met Emily, who was watching Robredo vs. Olli match. THat match was entertaining, in my opinion. Robredo played well, of course with ups and downs. I heared that he was 5-0 up in the first set, but then gave away the lead. But i wasn't surprized. Olivier also played well, with slight ups and downs. When Robredo played well and was beating Olli, I somehow took Ollie's side. I can't stand it when people get spanked by others, who are physically stronger.... Pittied Ollie a bit in those moments. But when he himself started beating Robredo I unvoluntarily took Tommy's side. anywa, it was a good match. Many interesting rallies. Partial choking made it interesting, like it often does... When the match was over, I left the Center court and went to the clubhouse... THere, in the locker room I saw an intersting site: players watching last year's Dubai highlights. THey are all modest guys, but the didn't mind listening a few complimenst from a comentator. Feliciano Lopez, and a few others didn't , atleast. It was funny. Heared a lot of jokes during this, and stuff like that. I realy felt like taking a picture, but i doubt that it's allowed in the dressing room/ locker room. I almost headed back to the studium to watch JC play, but decided to check if Marat's still oncourt (I looked through a semi-transparent cloth). He was , and he was practicing with Sontoro. His practice was average. A few winners, a few mistakes... sort of a mix. Peter told me that it was okay. He aknowledged the errors, but said that it was just a practice and that they happend "<only> sometimes". Marat was again in good mood. He tased Fabriece a lot. Everytime he forced the guy to run, Marat sarcasticall said to him: "Fabriece don't think that you're still a teen <<don't run so much>>. You have a wife and daughter. They need you" Btw. Marat's practice lasted either 1.5 or 2 hours. I don't know if he began it with someone else, like he did the otherday. After the practice a lot of people wanted autographs. When Marat walked off court the all surrounded him. But he didn't stop, though. He didn't sign all autographs, but only those he could sign while walking (pretty fast). I'm falling asleep now, so, sorry if it doesn't make sense anymore... Unfortunately I could not follow Marat after his practice, as I promised Emily and her mom that I'll be back soon to watch Ferrero. Too bad, beacuse I wanted to talk to Marat a bit. Ferrero's match was not bad, but not too exciting... JC played better than in practice, while Mayer also played well. Jc had lots of fh winners in that match, all landing close to the lines. I liked Mayer, beacuse he has an interesting style of play. Unique... Anyway, JC was good, but he wouldn't win a top-8 player quite yet... after this match Emily left. i went and roamed around. In the locker room I saw Davydenko with an ice back on his upper arm. I wonder what that's for... Jangui, after his match went for an electric massage of his right leg... For that , he watched tv with Younes El Aynoui. Pretty soon, Tim walked in a bit later, being friendly with Younes, asking him how he was... Don't rememeber any other special thing from today... I didn't watch Agassi's match for too long or too carefully. I don't like that man too much again... but he's not too bad anyway. I was waiting for Younes to play against Rainer, actually. Poor Younes in that! He couldn't play at all. Nothing worked nothing. He had no serve, no groundies (they were misses 90% of the time and very slow). No volleys. I think he might consider retiring soon. This was a horrible match. I hope he doesn't give up though. He has THE BEST personaliy. I was amazed that ,Younes actually broke Rainer's serve. THat guy wasn't playing badly. Momentary lapse, I think. Younes had to winners in that game: he speeded up his shots... Plus, Rainer was playing around with Younes, and sometimes his tactics of drawing out the errors out of Younes ,and being overly aggessive failed. Not too bad though. Anyone would have got distracted. Btw. this loss disappointed Younes a lot. He didn't even sign autographs... And I missed my chance to take a pic with him, I think... PS: i fell asleep about 4 times while typing this, so sorry for mistakes (especially when it doesn't make sense... I slept 3 hours last night and it's 2 Am already, this night.

I also found another link: www.beelinetv.com/But that one is also causing me some problems. Anyway, i hope some of us will find a way to see these matches on TV. I am in shock WTF happened out there today God, he must be so upset and pissed. If habibi was upset with the media before he will be even more upset now, I dread to think how they will crucify him over this loss.

Well, marat lost. I don't know, i'm quite disappointed here. Not because of the tournament itself, but it just feels like he just missed the match, like he wasn't quite there. He didn't have any points to defend here, but federer definitely is back for the race, he's the leader again. Let's just hope that this is not going to get into marat's head once again. He complained the other day about journalists getting on him last year (see article the sulky safin[..]media) because of his losses following the AO, i hope he's aware that he's gonna hear them once again. Everybody believes in his talent, that's for sure. But to really be a true champion, you've got to avoid this kind of thing. Because you will never see this happen to federer, roddick or hewitt. Maybe it is just a reminder for us: you never konw what you're gonna get with him, that's why you're always excited to see him play (even if he turns out to lose). Anyway, he still has got to play the doubles, so he can't even leave... Next stop is the DC, a whole different story there. Let's hope the best for Russia, and may he not listen to any of the haters around who just expected this.
