Sorry I'm a tad late in yay-ing but it was Bonfire Night last night and I was enjoying myself (for a change ;D). (belated happy Guy Fawkes night to all the Brits!!!)
Can't wait to see if he can do the Bercy triple!! BTW he said he wanted to move to Paris the first time I went to Bercy..he says it every year But how cool would it be if he won a second Masters Series - imagine the confidence he'd have going into Houston? (and how worried the other players would be ) The only thing that concerns me is his energy levels Apart from that, Davai Marat!!!
BTW I was told Marat has a new physical trainer by the name of Danny Kowalski (?)....ack.. it was a Russian surname like that but I can't remember it properly now... It began 'Ko' and ended in 'ski' ;D Anyway, he's Israeli and is the 'Danny' Marat was thanking in Madrid. Walt is still with him, but working as 'masseuse' (lucky beggar ) so Walt has kinda taken over Anatoly Glebov's job (aww...remember munchkin man?) I think Danny is in some of the photos from Marat's Israel vacation this year, but don't ask me which one he is!

What a run of form, I only wish I could have seen all the matches. There's no-one like Marat when he plays this way, I suppose this is why we stick with him through all the ups and downs.

Our Russian Bear sure came out of the blocks clicking on all cylinders, only set back, was that unfortunate fall.

What a match, 1h 39mins, just remarkable, awesome, Canas just could not control Marat, and even though his serve may have given him trouble in the second set, he hung in there, and stayed focus and got the job done! ;D

Again......those of u who saw this match lucky lucky you. I cant wait for the match reports.

I am sooooo proud of Marat.

He is really mastering those dreaded tiebreaks, and this is sooooo sooooo good for his confidence, these match and these wins, esp tiebreak wins in the final sets will be such a boost to his confidence for Houston, and for him period.

This is all sooooooo well deserving.

For tomorrow, as much as I would like Max to win the match today, I hope in a way its Stepanek because for me, once again, this is a grudge match, and I sooo want to see Marat take revenge.

But if it is Max.......Lord or Lord I guess we can expect a repeat of Moscow.......tie break tie break, I will have to get something to calm me.

NOBODY deserves to win this tournament more than Marat, nobody.

And I had meant to say tooooo... Lord how could I forget........I hope so hope that his ankle is okay, I mean he won, but ES said he was having sometrouble running, I just hope it does not swell up or anything, and he will be okay, for tomorow and definately Houston.

well. no live coverage for me today. but it was kinda nervewrecking especially after he twistred his ankle.

in case some of u don't know. marat twisted his right ankle in the 2ns game of the match. scary stuff. but he bouncd back to take the set. and 2nd set his serve was awful. but he held on. phew.

now the finals... COME ON MARAT!! BRING THE TROPHY HOME!!! TREBLE NOW!!! TREBLEEE!!!
