i just went there and there wasn't really much info, but you are sooo lucky that Marat's playing where you live!!!!

Heey... I was just monkeying around the RG site.. and there was an interview with Peter Lundgren.. and it seems like he knows nothing about Marat comming to the Ordina  Did you start working together in Estoril?
PL: No. I went to Estoril to touch base and see how we could sort things out. We decided on a trial period from Rome through to Wimbledon. After five tournaments - Rome, Hamburg, Roland Garros, Halle, and Wimbledon - we will decide whether to continue or bring things to an end. Gerry Weber Open, in Halle, starts June 7th... Ordina Open starts June 14th... Wimbledon starts June 21th...  Has Lundgren just forgot to mention about the Ordina Open.. or are they really planning on skipping this tournament.. His name is still on the ordina website.. so I dont know.. ;)Caroline |

I don't know, I'm hoping Lundgren forgot to mention it, but I fear it's not a mistake  But seeing as his name is still on the site there's hope, but remember how long it took b4 they took out Marat's name on the Barca site, so there's hope, just not much -xxx-jes me |

ow in that case i'm hoping for a first round defeat in Halle. OMG that sounds SO awful   I hate myself right now for saying that  -xxx-jes me dont hate yourself miek.. you were just feeling good today... keb dah ook wellus, dah heppieje wajjei heb;) let's just dont give up our hope that he's comming, allright! Don't take this as 'official' because it's not, but last week (week before that?) I heard from 'official circles' something about Marat playing 'Halle and Holland' or something similar so I guess Marat is still supposed to be going. But I think a lot will depend on his performance at RG and how well he does/ how tired he is..... so it's not 100%, he could still pull out of Ordina open, but maybe this bit of [old?] news will cheer you up.....  It might be that Peter just isn't going to Ordina Open, or Marat has made new plans and hasn't told any managers yet ;D Anything is possible with Marat!! But like I say, this isn't 'official' anything....dunno if I should even be posting it because it could be out-of-date by now.... so don't blame me if Marat pulls out  If I hear anything 'official' I'll post it  |

i'm thinking he'll probably pull out of one of them, if he does well in Paris cos halle is straight after RG, then ordina comes straight after that...then it's WIMBLEDON! he hasn't left much room for a break has he?

Okay thanx Ruth for the 'unofficial' news.. ;D It's true that Marat always does the unexpected.. hehe.. special boy he is! I hope your 'old-news' isnt out-of-date yet! Jiat> yeah, it's maybe a little too much uhh.. Garros, Halle, Ordina, Wimbledon.. all in a row.. BUT, my opinion is he could better skip Halle then, cuz thats right after Garros, so he could better have some rest then... And then use Ordina to prepare for Wimbledon.. (surprising idea from my side, uhh?!!  ;D) ;)Caroline |

Hi, just read from the Russian news agency RIAN that Shamil T. said Marat won't play in Halle next week and will take care of his blisters. But that's our Shamil T. of course. He maybe really called Marat and I also don't think Marat will be able to play next week. So good luck Caroline! And sorry Meke, but you can meet him in years to come when you have no exams for sure! |
