kristof vliegen just lost the second set against puerta.what is it with these belgian boys today? There`s nothing wrong with Belgian boys...... What happends with Vliegen is that Argentine (and Russian) boys ROCK!!!!! , hahaha Puerta is a GREAT clay court player, one of the top ten claycourt players, in my opinion. You may not hear about him because he had an accident (the elevator in which he was in fell down!!!) , was injured and had a doping suspention (sp.?) of 6 months:P (BTW, for taking a medicine for his asthma). But he`s one of the best in clay. (check his clay activity this year in atptennis.com )

Henin, Coria, score early day victories By Matt Cronin Thursday, May 26, 2005 Former champion Justine Henin-Hardenne overcame a minor back injury and Spaniard Virginia Ruano Pascual 6-1, 6-4 to advance to the third round. Henin was joined by 2004 finalist Guillermo Coria, who moved on when his opponent, 18-year-old qualifier Novak Djokovic retired hurt with the score at 4-6, 6-2, 3-2. Coria's Argentine countryman, Guillermo Canas, also scored a victory. Seven seed Nadia Petrova moved ahead too, taking down Frenchwoman Severine Beltrame 6-1, 6-3. Henin - who won three clay court titles coming into the tournament - is a strong favorite to win her second Roland Garros. The 22-year-old Belgian has perhaps more variety than any other player on tour and showed it against the veteran Spaniard, mixing up low slices with nifty volleys and rolling topspin forehands. After taking a 5-0 lead, the quick Belgian requested treatment for her chronic back injury, but showed few effects from the injury except for on her serve. "Probably not now, but I have to take a little rest," Henin said. "Especially on clay courts, it's very hard. You have to be at your best level all the time, and physically it is very hard - long rallies and everything. But I'm going to be fine anyway. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be more serious. But it was bothering me, especially on my serve. Since returning to the tour in March after a year off due to a debilitating virus and knee injury, Henin is 22-1 and has won 19 consecutive matches, all on clay. Her only loss this year was at Miami to Maria Sharapova on hard courts. She doesn't believe she's playing better than she was when she left, but the three-time Grand Slam champion likes her form. "I did miss tennis a lot," said Henin, who will face Spaniard Anabel Medina Garrigues. "When you love to play and you can't, it's very frustrating. So I feel very lucky to be back on the court, and I try to enjoy my game probably more than in the past. But I don't know if I'm playing better. I hope one day I can play better than before my illness. But here at the French Open, it's a different kind of pressure, and a lot of attention on myself. And I'm not used to it any more." ERMMMMMMMM CAN Marat get a walkover too? ? rotfl then lau and I won't have to take so many chill pills ;D

nieminen just broke back, but things are still looking comfortable for igor, i can't believe some people made igor the outsider for this match.
