PIM PIM'S COMEBACK DELAYED For precautionary reasons Pim-Pim has decided to forgo his US summer hardcourt comeback. He has thus withdrawn from Pilot Pen (New Haven) as well as the US Open.  According to the Swedish press he is now aiming to return to competition in the fall. (From joachimjohansson.org) |

PIM PIM IS BACK!
Joachim's third (?) comeback attempt got off to a nice start at the Sweden Futures. He advanced to the second round after his opponent Johan Settergren retired with cramps at 6-4 3-1.
Then he won again against Eric Claesson 6-0 6-1 and today he defeated Juho Paukku 6-2 6-0.
Next Pim-Pim will face fellow Swede Marcus Sarstrand in semis.

And even more good news!: Pim Pim defeated Sarstrand 7-6/ 4-6/ 6-2 and now he will play in the final against Bjorn Rehnquist. ;D
