A bit offtopic but Ivan lost to Hyung Tayk Lee Straight sets too Yeah, big surprise. I'm glad Mario doesn't have to play against Ivan, though, it's never good having to beat friends (so, we're on topic again ;D). What happened to Kolya ? I'll check his thread straight away, the stupid Chinese website isn't very informative. Could there be a final between Mario and Baghdatis in sight? P.S.: I finally see the resemblence to Bambi! Could those eyes lie...?

[glow=red,2,300]Ancic comeback continues[/glow]
Mario Ancic's has continued his comeback from injury with a 4-6 6-1 6-1 win against Hyung-Taik Lee to reach the final of the China Open. The 22-year-old Croatian, who returned this week after two months out with knee trouble, will meet Marcos Baghdatis or Paradorn Srichaphan on Sunday.
The Lee knocked out number one seed Ivan Ljubicic in the quarter-finals on Friday and looked set for another upset against Croatian opposition when he took the first set.
The fourth seed everntually clawed his way back into contention and saw the Korean off with two breaks apiece in the second and third sets.
"When someone beats the world number three [Ljubicic] you have to be careful," Ancic said. "That the match was two and a quarter hours long said it all, it was a very difficult match and not reflected in the score."
"I think it was an unbelievable level of tennis today with some breathtaking rallies and I was really happy with my performance," Ancic added.
Before his season was disrupted by the injury, Ancic was on a roll and had won the 's-Hertogenbosch title for the second time and reached the last eight at Wimbledon, where he was beaten by Roger Federer.
"I'm a little bit surprised," Ancic said of his progress through the draw this week. "I knew it was going to be hard coming back after so long out of the match situation.
"What I am lacking in the way I'm hitting the ball, I compensate for with a lot of fighting spirit."

I hate to say it but he deserved to lose today - Baghdatis played a lot better Mario didn't move too well, didn't serve that well and seemed a little bit tired. No wonder after being injured for so long and having advanced to the finals in Singles and Doubles. Maybe he can secure at least one title today. Anyway, he's back on the scene with a bang and he should manage to get back into the Top 10 soon. Can't wait to see him in Paris (I tried to talk him into going to Moscow but somehow he didn't seem to hear me ) ;D ;D ;D Thanks for all the pics, yse!
