This was too good... I had to post it LMAO!!! Q. I saw you yesterday. You were quite nervous when you were playing against Di Mauro. Is yourself the worst opponent sometimes? GASTON GAUDIO: Myself? Q. Yes, because you have a negative attitude sometimes. GASTON GAUDIO: I think that always myself is my worst opponent. I always playing against myself first and then to the other one. So I'm playing against two guys during the match (smiling). Q. You cannot do anything about it? GASTON GAUDIO: Imagine how good I am, that I play against two (laughing).

omg!! i am in shock the way Nalby went out!! omg he lost 1-6 2-6 to sanguinetti!! how did that happen??!! but on better side of things Acasuso went through 7-5 7-6 (20-18) against Phau. wish i could have seen that tie break - it equaled Marat n Roger's tiebreak in Houston04

That can explain the scoreline..... Next time, if this is accurate, don´t even try David , just go and have some rest.

I remember that match because in certain moment Marat said in Spanish to Chucho, after losing a bizarre point "Try hitting the ball with the center of the racquet" ROTFL ;D I`ll never forget that. It`s true that Chucho´s tennis is quite clumsy sometimes. In some ocassions you don´t understand how could he win some points. In that aspect he reminds me of Palermo, a Boca Juniors (football club) player. You don´t understand how the F.... he scores so many goals BTW, Palermo is in the Guinnes book (sorry, not related with tennis) for not being able to score after "kicking" 3 penalties in the same match!!! He`s too clumsy !!! Hahahha ;D ;D

Hewitt rival out of Cup tie By Paul Malone August 29, 2006 LLEYTON Hewitt's most bitter Argentine rival, Guillermo Coria, has declared his unavailability for his country's Davis Cup semi-final against Australia in Buenos Aires next month. Hewitt, sent indoors by rain for the second time in three days yesterday in the build-up to the US Open at Flushing Meadows, will be spared a confrontation at the tie with Coria, who would have been a provocative and needling presence. Hewitt's immediate focus is his US Open fitness battle and the Australian yesterday did not appear to move as comfortably as he did 24 hours earlier when saying he would "probably play" his first-round match against Albert Montanes of Spain. That match will either be tomorrow or Thursday. The Open starts in New York today. Former Argentine top-30 player Horacio de la Pena, the coach of Coria, claimed yesterday that Hewitt's refusal to confirm his availability for the Davis Cup tie was due more to a reluctance to play the Argentines on clay than his publicised security concerns. Argentina's leading players do not expect Hewitt to play in the Davis Cup tie and expect him to cite a knee injury for his absence. Former world No.3 Coria, who played Hewitt in a bad-tempered match in Sydney in 2004 - after which both of the players were fined for code of conduct breaches - will not be part of the Argentine squad, de la Pena said. De la Pena said Hewitt, who would not confirm yesterday that he would be available for the tie due to the security concerns he made public four months ago, was wrong if he thought he faced physical danger from Argentines in Buenos Aires, despite his unpopularity there. "The thing that Hewitt doesn't like the most about it is he has to play on very slow red clay and getting out of winter it's going to be very hard for him," said de la Pena. "Security would be no problem for him. Conditions will be hard for him, not the people." Despite Coria's non-attendance, David Nalbandian and Juan Ignacio Chela remain two Argentines who have tempestuous histories with Australia's Cup spearhead. Bad blod between the 2 country's This should make an interesting match up!
