I was seeing Mariano`s pics of the ceremony.... I can`t express what seeing Mariano next to the player of the moment and Zidane means for the ones who tried to know about him during the hard times..... It fells GOOD. I must admit I never expected this from him. I`m happy he proved me wrong ;D Well, about the rest of my boys this week... As far as I know, no argentines in Stella Artois. As you could read previously, Puerta withdraw (I don`t know if any of them qualified...) And in Halle: NALBANDIAN, David (ARG/5) v SCHÜTTLER, Rainer (GER) VERDASCO, Fernando (ESP) v CANAS, Guillermo (ARG/4) He won this match Guillermo!! CANAS, Guillermo ARG/NALBANDIAN, David ARG v. (4) ERLICH, Jonathan ISR/RAM, Andy ISR Tough!

DAVID!!!!! Nalbandian outburst has Schuettler going through
07 June 2005 „I have never seen something like this before,“ a puzzled Rainer Schuettler said after his dubious win over David Nalbandian. A solid performance saw Schuettler winning the first set, and the two exchanged breaks before the crowd witnessed a memorable out-burst.
Up 3-2, Nalbandian repeatedly smashed his racket and received back-to-back game penalties that gave Schuettler a 4-3 lead. Nalbandian, who also asked for the supervisor, finished the match without any effort.
“That was a strange match,” admitted Schuettler, not at all a grass court specialist. “But after all, it was good to hear the game, set and match phrase again.” Hot-blooded Nalbandian, a former Wimbledon finalist, stormed off the court in anger paired with thunderous catcalls.

But what about Mariano...................I thought he had pulled out? Yes, Teresa, he`s not playing. There must be something wrong with the draw. An american lucky looser is taking his place. I know he`s not playing because I watched his press conference in Buenos Aires. He arrived today

Guille Cañas is in QF after defeating Zimonjic 6-3, 7-6(3) in Halle!!!Cañas eases through in Halle
BERLIN, June 9 (Reuters) - Fourth seed Guillermo Canas eased through to the Halle Open quarter-finals on Thursday with a 6-3 7-6 win over doubles specialist Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia.
The nimble Argentine scampered across the grass at the 12,500-seater Gerry Weber arena, producing deft drop shots and audacious lobs to outplay an error-prone Zimonjic.
Canas, who did recover from 5-3 down in the second set, will play Rainer Schuettler of Germany or Belgium's Dick Norman for a place in the semi-finals, where he could face Australian Open champion Marat Safin of Russia, the second seed.

In their doubles match Guillermo Cañas and David decided a WO, so Allegro and Federer are in third round . I guess that after his day of fury David didn`t want to play doubles
