Igor Kunitsyn lost in the doubles final at newport yesterday with Nathan Healy
Him and Gaba are both in LA with Marat but will not be there as long as Marat as Igor has Nalbandian to play and Gaba has Kiefer. Not looking good
Korolev will play Roitman or Chardy in the 2nd round

Wonderful day for Kunitsyn in Las Vegas yesterday  Defeated Nalbandian in singles 7/6 7/5  and then went on to win in doubles too ;D A. Delic/I. Kunitsyn d J. Auckland/S. Huss 6-3, 2-6, (10-8) Playing his second round match against Nicolas Kiefer today...Udachi In Amersfoort Zhenya plays his second round match against Roitman today first on Centre Court |

Kunitsyn pulled a shocking results out the bag - beating Nalby in straight sets
I think Kiefer may prove to be a tougher opponent though but it's possible.
Korolev v Youzhny - shall be an interesting match!

Korolev, Kunitsyn and Gabashvili are in Indiannapolis this week.
Igor plays a qualifier in the first round, Teimuraz plays a wild card nominee Rajeev Ram and Zhenya - Justin Gimelstob.

 Zhenya won his match against Gimelstob : 62 64 !!!! Welldone baby ! And goodluck in your 2nd round match, against probably Andy Roddick ..... Igor K will have a busy schedule today ;D He'll play his singles round 1 match as the second one on court one (against Santiago Giraldo) Later that day, he'll play the doubles match (with H.T. Lee) against Bootie and Stretch. That's the last match on Grandstand. Gabashvili will play on Grandstand, 2nd match, against Rajeev Ram!  GOOD LUCK TO ALL RUSKIE'S |

Dmitry Tursunov defeated American Michael Russell 6-3, 7-5, to set up a second round confrontation with fellow Russian Temiuraz Gabashvili.
The 22-year-old Gabashvili prevailed over American wild card Rajeev Ram 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 in two hours and two minutes.
Almost simultaneously, Russian Igor Kunitsyn clinched his two-hour, two-minute victory over Colombian qualifier Santiago Giraldo 6-2, 1-6, 7-5 & will next face Mardy Fish!

Igor Kunitsyn beat Mardy Fish 6/4 ret. ;D ;D ;D Timur Gabashvili paired up with Ivo Karlovic and won their doubles match yesterday against Perry / Coetzee on a match TB 11/9 ;D And unfortunately Zhenya lost to Andy Roddick 3/6 2/6 |
