Ok ok calm down now Lizzy LOL.... First of all he's a little bit mad so i will not be surprised if we see him play somewhere really soon but for his sake I am hoping he does some serious rest and takes care of his health before something tragic happens... will keep you all posted. I wrote all that from the commentator's words and once there's something certain I will update

So SORRY to hear that the knee problem is serious. Surgery? OMG! Don't know when he began having trouble with his left knee, what I can tell you is that at BCR Open in Bucharest ( the tounament before the DC, at which he was finalist ) he had the knee bandaged from the first round until tha final. And he needed medical treatment during some of the matches. Hope everythimg will turn out fine for Igor! Annie, THANKS A LOT for the MAGNIFICIENT photos!!!!!

I know i saw his victory and i was shocked .
Anyway his next round match is scheduled to be against top seed David Ferrer. So in a way he will get some more time off, which should be good for him but then he would lose and then we would feel bad.
Oh well whatever happens go IGOR

Okay things are getting interested as he is now in the SF
In the first match of the day, Russian Igor Andreev registered a 7-5, 7-5 win over Alberto Martin to advance the semifinals of the Internazionali di Sicilia on Friday afternoon.
With the win, Andreev is 31-29 and looks to win his second title this year (d. Ferrer in Valencia). The Russian will take a 1-0 lead in the series over Italian Andreas Seppi in their semifinal encounter.
Seppi entered the semifinal with a convincing 6-3, 6-4 win over countryman Davide Sanguinetti. With the win, Seppi improves to 17-12 for the year.
