Attempted to qualify for the Main Draw at Cincy
In 1st round beat Robert Kendrick 7-6 6-3
But lost in final round to Amer Delic 6-4 7-6
Igor next tournament is at New Haven next week before the US OPEN!

New Haven: Igor beat Montanes in a 3rd set TB today .... will play David Ferrer next PS -- It's double-up day for everyone to make up for the rain ... after players win early in the day today, they have to play again late afternoon/evening .... the winner between Igor & Ferrer (NB 11 am on Court 2) plays the winner of Johansson/Karlovic NB 4 on Court 2.  |

 Andreev, seeded fifth, finished second in the tournament in both 2004 and 2005, but didn't make it to the third round this year, losing to Marc Gicquel, 6-4, 6-3. Gicquel moved into Friday's quarterfinals against Gael Monfils, who dispatched Vassallo Arguello, 6-4, 6-4, in their second-round match. Another quarterfinal Friday sends sixth-seeded Gilles Simon against Hugo Armando. Simon advanced with a 6-4, 6-2, win over Evgeny Korolev while Armando beat Andreas Seppi, 6-0, 6-3, in the second round. HEy guys, just a question.. Does anyone got any idea how come Igor is not playing St Petersburg? Looks like most Russians (except Marat-who hasnt played there for 3 yrs and Igor) are on....and the wild cards seems given much lower players? Any suggestion about our blondie?
