Andreev beats Seppi to reach Sydney final

SYDNEY, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Russian Igor Andreev beat Italian Andreas Seppi 6-2 2-6 6-2 on Friday to reach the final of the Sydney International.
Andreev will play either Russian second seed Nikolay Davydenko or American James Blake in Saturday's final. They were due to play each other later on Friday.
The first semi-final was interrupted for more than three hours by the heavy rain that has plagued the tournament all week.
Andreev was leading 6-2 2-5 when the heavens opened but Seppi squared the match after play resumed.
Seppi staged a remarkable comeback to beat Australia's Lleyton Hewitt in Thursday's quarter-finals but was unable to repeat that performance against Andreev, who grabbed two early service breaks to runaway with the third set.
The women's final between Justine Henin-Hardenne of Belgium and Italy's Francesca Schiavone was scheduled for Friday night.

Tomorrow Kolya and Igor play their first round doubles match against Acasuso/Prieto of Argentina. UDACHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In his second round singles match Igor will be facing Sluiter of the Netherlands. Another tricky one. Good luck |
