Three wins at Roland Garros in four years for Justine Hénin-Hardenne. Here are some more interesting numbers regarding Saturday's final.
0
A No8 seed has yet to win the women's singles at the French Open. This was, however, the third time that a No5 seed has gone all the way.
1
The difference in the number of points won by Justine Hénin-Hardenne (36) and Svetlana Kuznetsova (35) in the first set, which the Belgian won 6-4.
3
This is the third time that Justine has lifted the Suzanne Lenglen trophy as winner of the French Open, putting her level with Monica Seles (USA) and Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario (Spain). She is still a long way behind the record holder, American Chris Evert, who won here seven times.
3
Justine Hénin-Hardenne will go up two places in the WTA world rankings on Monday, putting her third. Amélie Mauresmo will remain world No1, with Svetlana Kuznetsova moving up from 10th to 6th.
4
The number of times Justine Hénin-Hardenne came to the net during the final, without winning a single point.
5
This was Justine's fifth Grand Slam title - three here at Roland Garros, the US Open in 2003 and the Australian Open in 2004. Wimbledon, with its grass courts, is the only tournament she is yet to win.
6
The Belgian is the sixth player in the Open Era to win the women's singles at Roland Garros without losing a set. The last woman to do so was Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario in 1994.
8
Hénin's win puts an end to a run of eight different players winning the various women's Grand Slam tournaments, which stretched from Roland Garros 2004 to the Australian Open 2006.
9
This is the ninth time that the holder has successfully defended the women's singles title at Roland Garros.
10
However, it was the first time in 10 years that this had happened. Justine's idol Steffi Graf (1995-1996) was the last champion to defend her title successfully.
11
In the 12 matches they have played, Svetlana Kuznetsova has lost 11 times, including the last seven in a row.
14
The number of consecutive wins for Hénin-Hardenne at Roland Garros, stretching back to 2005. However, she will have to keep her streak going until the second round of 2009 if she is going to beat Chris Evert's record of 29 consecutive victories.
21
The number of consecutive sets that the Belgian has won at Roland Garros, dating back to 2005. This puts her one behind Evert's best and five behind Steffi Graf's record of 26 (so she has every chance of continuing this streak when the 77th French Open gets underway in 2007).
31
The temperature in Celsius, in the shade, during the women's final.
39
The number of games which Justine Hénin-Hardenne lost at this year's French Open - at an average of just over five games per match.
68
The total number of unforced errors which the two players made in the final, 38 from Kuznetsova and 30 from Hénin.
563
The number of minutes spent on court by the French Open winner, at an average of 80 minutes per match.
463,000
The prizemoney in euros won by Svetlana Kuznetsova, the losing finalist - 7,000 euros less than the losing finalist will win in the men's competition.
940,000
The prize money in euros won by women's champion Justine Hénin-Hardenne. For the first time this year at Roland Garros, the women's champion is receiving the same prizemoney as the men's.
