What happened to Haas yesterday then? I don't have a TV here, so I didn't have the chance to watch any live tennis going on. I`ll try to explain it.... This is from other forum " He was warming up with serves when a ball rolled towards him DURING his motion and he steps on it and twists his ankle. His foot was swollen badly.
Pretty unfortunate to say the least" I couldn´t watch the match, but I think he played a few games (or a set... I don´t know...) and he had to retire.. YES this was terrible I just saw a replay of the incident on tv A real freaky situation I feel so sorry for Tommy, and you should have seen the ankle it swelled up so quickly and it was so big. It really was a strange situation. I do feel for him I really do.

I know most wont agree with me but I was not upset about JHH really, not a fav at all
Of course my dream would be for Dinara to win, but I would also be happy to see Myskina win, but dont l think this will happen, she had a rough time yesterday, so then my next choice would be Kim
The match between Haynes and Serena was something else and Ireally wanted Haynes to win maybe next time.
I am very pround of Henman another incredible match I am so happy for him that he did not go out in the first round.
As for Llodra.........wow..........what a match. I really really hope he can pull it off today, match was suspended, Ireally hope he beats Grosjean

I'm suporting Kim ( and Dinara too of course )

LONDON, June 22 (Reuters) - Russian eighth seed Nikolay Davydenko retired injured from his second-round match against Sweden's Jonas Bjorkman at Wimbledon on Wednesday.
Right-hander Davydenko was leading 7-6 2-1 on Court Two when he decided to quit after receiving treatment on his right wrist.
The 24-year-old had reached the second round of the grasscourt grand slam for the first time.

Being Belgian I was very disappointed to see Justine H-H loose in the first round! I really thought she had a good chance of winning this year! But I'm glad to see Dinara has gotten to the next round, unfortunately she's got a very tough draw ahead of her! I think that anyone of the women's players have got a good chance of claiming the title this year, it's really hard to pick a favourite. As for the men, ... there's only one for me, and that's my darling Marat ofcourse!! ;D

From Lleyton interview, the press asked him:
Q. During the BBC coverage, the cameras were on your girlfriend and your family. Pat Cash was heard to remark, "I beat she's up the duff." I just wonder if you mind your girlfriend being talked about like that?
LLEYTON HEWITT: What did he say?
Q. Pat Cash was commenting on the game. The camera came across your girlfriend. He remarked, thinking his microphone was off, "I bet she's up the duff." The BBC apologized for that. I wonder if you mind her being talked about like that?
LLEYTON HEWITT: You know, Pat's ‑‑ Pat always comes out with some loose comments now and then. Yeah, I was talking to Pat in the locker room just before. He obviously didn't bring that up (laughter). We're obviously pretty good mates. You know, I've got a lot of respect for him as a person.
What does "I bet she's up the duff" mean?

"I bet she's up the duff": no idea what this means, but Lleyton didn't seem to be too bothered by it, so it can't be that bad! Any Australians around who can give a translation for the Pat-Cash-vocabulary?

i can explain what it is as it's an english term.it's just basically a slang way of saying someone is pregnant. Yep that's pretty much what it means, like 'knocked up' Its common knowledge that Bec is pregnant, it was in the papers. Its still pretty crude of Cash
