Sugiyama may be a difficult opponent, but 2004 wasn't as that succesful for her as 2003 so I believe that Dina has good chances to beat her. Especially that it's a beginning of the year and it's actually hard to predict anything. So fingers crossed!!

true sugiyama is a hard apponent but she may have had a tough winter and your 1st match is really a tough one so i could see dina winning this depending on how she feels.

it seems like Dina will play the singles only on Tuesday. But on Monday she plays in the doubles:
East Court 1 (from 11.00hrs) 1. Pin vs. Barna 2. Golovin/Safina vs. Yan/Zheng (NB 14.00hrs; after suitable rest) that's because Golovin plays against Yan at 11.00
