my question is why is everyone fussing over marat's hair when there are other player's who have longer hair?

OMG!! Those photos!!!  But I know his long, loooong hair would be wavy, not curly.... If it gets so long he has to tie it back in a ponytail.....we go to Plan A. 4 or 5 of us hold him down, may take 6 or 7 of us but we can hold him down long enough for one of us to cut it. |

Hi, I haven't posted for a while. I think the general concensus of opinion about the hair is that most of us prefer him with short hair. I myself loved it around the time of last year's Master's Cup (not that we get that over here) but I've seen photos on this board and in magazines. However, much as we arent so keen on the curls it looks like we're going to be stuck with them for a while at least. I think they're okay but I dont like the hat at all, and a bald look I couldnt stand! Maybe he'll change his hair next year, goodness know what it will be to. Tennis players rarely stay the same (maybe one of the few exceptions is Tim Henman), even Roger Fed lost his ponytail after a few years.

Only problem is...while we were holding him down we would forget about his hair.  I like it the way it is now and I like the cap I just wanted a reason to pile on him. |

I luv his hair long. It's so European. Yet, I would join the team to hold him down and trim, but need more information on what country this will be done in so I can prepare for their prison, because, as said above, there might be more than hair cutting happening. Actually, it's kind of creepy to talk about holding him down or doing anything against his will.
But look at Guga, Federer's prissy bangs, Nadal's scrag look, Malisse's slick back pony tail, and the oh-so-icky Gaudio look. Marat's looks manly, or really, manely.
