He cried when he hugged his mother. I`m sure the memory of his father appeared in that moment. I almost cried too....., but I´m capable of crying watching an ad. LOL |

If he hadn't won that match I would have gone to Argentina and smacked him  !!!! BRAVO DAVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WELL DONE!!!!!!!!! I swear to God I was watching the match and images of Lau in front of her TV were haunting me...I have no idea how you survived through this match Lau..I almost went mad and there was no Russian playing The match was a real drama Brilliant first two sets!!! Beautiful tennis from both but more luck (and linesmen  ) on Federer's side.... Then FedExpress slows down and David pushes a bit further....by the end of the fourth set it was awful...as much as I wanted David to win I felt sorry for Roger and at that point he looked more human than ever...he simply could not move..his legs were trembling and wouldn't hold him!!!  that was horrible.... 4:0 in the fifth set for David and hubby tells me "That's it...all over now" but I knew Fed would come back...I told my Dima "Watch him now...." and it's not like Rog did something extraordinary..it's more that David got tired and started making too many mistakes and his legs were going at some point, too..I was actually really worried because he looked like he was limping on his right foot at one point  and then on a tie-break Rog was more human than ever..there was no strength left and David on the other hand realised that it's now or never and he will never forgive himself for losing ;D ;D ;D Considering he didn't even make it to the TMC at first WAY TO GO DAVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brillliant tournament!!!!!!!!!!! |

That match made up for what had been , up until that point, a pretty dire tournament.
