Finally got connected to Internet at home yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY ;D ;D ;D so I watched Misha's vignette and as promised here is a short summary of what he says He starts with his childhood. He has an older brother Andrey (you can always see him as part of the DC coaching team) and their parents took Andrey to tennis classes when he was 4 and Misha was 2 ;D They went to this stadium called "Druzhbda" - "Friendship" (it's actually very close to my house ;D) and had drag Misha along since there was noone to stay home with him so in summer it was tennis and in winter it was figure skating....a couple of years passed like that and one day Andrey's coach said "Hey, why is your brother just sitting there doing nothing? Tell him to join our training..." That's how Misha started playing. Some time after they were transferred to Shiryaevo Pole (the most famous tennis training base in Moscow) and solely concentrated on tennis. Misha's first racquet was a wooden one called "Kosmic", only years later he held his first professional "Head" racquet. Then he talks about his coach - Boris Sobkin. They have been working together for 13 years and Misha respects him a great deal and hopes their partnership continues to produce good results. When asked about his character and personality he said "Well, I don't feel comfortable talking about myself. Ask someone else to tell you about me" ;D In the end he talks about life after tennis. And says that it is way too early to think about it. In his opinion his career hasn't even reached a midpoint yet, there are many more years to come and he hopes he does well in the future. Great vignette and he is just so cute and shy ;D Loved it They added some more, so check them out....it's a great ATP idea and I just love them ;D
