I was wondering what those letters stood for, also, so checked the site.
Key
(s) = seeded nation
(c) = choice of ground
* = choice of ground decided by lot
Russia is a seeded country but they don't get choice of ground, interesting how this works.

am mondo glad they won ;D ;Di secretly checked the score at school and wanted to shriek in class  ;D ;Dthey're doing re runs here and they've only played the first and second rubber so I'm hoping they play the doubles match....it sounds good..did vera play any matches?? btw...i think i read somewhere that marat called dina to congratulate her on the 2-way..is that true? |

Yeah that is true according to the Fed Cup website, Marat did phone Dina. Good on him, the big brother.
Douchevina did not play any matches even thought she was scheduled for the doubles, unfortunately she had to make way for the irresistable Lena. But as they say it was a team effort. So yes Vera was very much invovled

This time Vera didn't play but she did play in the semis with Dina, so it was indeed a team effort... Ily..THE BELGIANS?  ? OMG  That should have been a final or something not the first round, I agree with Jasmine here  |

just watched the rerun of 5th rubber today...was absolutely MARVELLOUS ;)elena with her forehand passes and dinara with her volleys..*phew*  i know this is off topic but his elena going out with anyone? |

Not that I know of alsl..she is very closed about her private life but whenever she is out it's either alone or with her Mum, so dunno really but I think no. She is probably waiting for Ily to grow up |

I can remember on the 1st day at wimbledon, i had a choice Marat v Schrichapan on Centre court or Elena on Court 3. If only Marat knew what i had to sacrifise to see him. |
