Actually, It's a great idea! The main problem however is to determine a rout for the hippo ( it would have to travel from country to country in such away that it is both efficient and fast, so that everybody who wants to sign it gets to do it and the costs for the next trip aren't so high... U get it ) OMG.... I just thought of something... That means that we will have to exchange addresses... but can U imagine what happens if somewhere along the line it gets lost in the mail ( U know how postal services are... ) and they don't send it to the right address because someone didn't spell it PERFECTLY right Can U imagine how guilty that person will feel (I would) and for that matter think abt the nerve wrecking time everybody will have until they know the hippo has arrived safely to the next address... damn... this is too complicated even for an imaginary trip... It IS a good idea, though...I wish we could actually do it.... It would really be something *sighing*

Or we could each scan our signatures, send them to Ruth (or someone who will be at the Aussie Open) together with the hippo and they could take it to one of those places that make inscriptions with whatever U want ( U just need to have it on a disk) on T-shirts... or something... I don't know... ;D ;D

I think if you go to one of the high tech computerised t-shirt places that specialise in putting your graphic or photo onto a t-shirt they can put any digital image on, so that would probably work. If someone had one nearby then they could duck in and ask. It's certainly an original idea, not one I have seen before, so ALSO not something someone has already done for Marat.

I mean the equipment. Our nearest so far as I know would be in Wagga Wagga, 80 km away or maybe in Cootamundra which is not much closer. Usually if someone can put this stuff together in a compatible file it's no drama. Usually Photoshop works for most printers.
The T shirt is for the hippo, isn't it? The thing fading if it is would not be a problem, only if you were also thinking about giving Marat a t-shirt he can wear as well as the hippo.

That's a good idea to print it on a t-shirt. Someone can make a graphic and go to a shop. I made t-shirts for a whole sportsteam once, designed it and then got it printed on the t-shirts. It looked really cool. Maybe some can't make graphics on the comp, then u just make them on paper and scan them.
I heard this of others who did something like this, and sending stuff around the world to everyone took them about a year!!!!!! Whoever made that up, SMART!
