All I know is that the photo was supposed to be taken at the Hopman Cup ball in Australia (week before Aus. Open) and I don't think he's ever had a girlfriend at that tournament... so he was probably on his own.. or took his doubles partner with him (lucky girls!)

Well we don't have them per se in Britain..... but I guess we've all seen enough American films with a prom in to know what they are ;D I remember the group of ultra-popular girls at my high school begging my headteacher for a prom....it never happened We had the usual tacky 'school-disco' that seems de rigeur in UK schools..... |

believe you me, there is nothing tackier than the all american high school prom, esp. if it takes place in the school gym! ;D picture if you will: girls waddeling around in massive layers of shiney, pastelish, sparkley, tulle, brides-maidey dresses, with vodka or whiskey or gin etc. hidden inside of hairspray bottles (remember we can't drink here until 21, legally) and boys, all sh#$tfaced and pimple-y, in ill-fitting rent-a-tuxes slithering around the dance floor looking like complete jack-a$$es ;D mine wasn't actually in our gym (it was in a swanky hotel) but all of the above still applies except that maybe the smuggled in inebrients were even more illeagl....  |
