DAY 68
* Housemates awake in a good mood in the knowledge that they are going to stand firm on the nomination issue.all except Kim who is still fearful of the consequences*
* The housemates spend the main part of the day discussing their impending rebellion against BB. Kim tries unsuccesfully to persuade the housemates to pick a nominee and avoid confrontation. Martina is still very much determined to stay together as a group; she feels that is they are forced to split now, she may go insane; "You can't be alone in here!" she tells Kim. "You need as many people around you as possible. Its communal living!"*
*Goran, Martina, Xavier and Marat play backyard cricket in the afternoon and Martina wonders whether all this fun and good will will stretch into the real world; "We have spent so much time togehter over the past months; I think we are going to get withdrawl symptoms once we get out of the house!" Marat laughs; "Actually I will be glad to get away from you! Yo udrive me nuts!". Martina smiles; "You drive me nuts too honey." It so happens to be her turn to bowl, Marat is playing the wicket keeper (back -stop), and Xavier is batting. Martina bowls a wicked spin and Xavier fails to hit it. It skims over the wickets and hits Marat right where it hurts. Martina giggles; "Now that is what I call justice. I drove you nuts and now I broke your nuts!" Goran recognises the humour of the situation and does a high five with Martina. Marat stands doubled over and rubbing his nether regions. When he has recovered sufficiently he warns Martina to run because she was "In big trouble, woman" Martina quickly hurries and locks herself into the bathroom "OK I am very sorry for hitting your balls, at least you proved you had some" she exclaims from behind the safety of the locked door. Kim finally persuades Marat to come and sit down in the living room and he says jokingly; "Do you want to kiss it better?" Kim giggles; "I don't think that's really appropriate for national TV" and she gives him a kiss o nthe cheek instead. When martina emerges Marat says to her giggling; "don't you think you got away with this one!"*
* At 6.00pm the BB voice asks "Housemates can you please give the name of your nominee". Martina speaks on behalf of the housemates "Big Brother we are refusing to nominate a housemate. We will NOT help you create a 'them' and 'us' atmosphere in the house". The fellow housemates nod in agreement, Kim holds her breath.*
*For a minute there is silence as BB digests what Martina has just said. BB then replies with "Housemates can you please give us the name of your nominee." The housemates look at each other, they had not anticipated BB asking them to nominate again, but Martina holds firm "BB the housemates refuse to choose a nominee". This time BB response is quick and direct "Housemates you have failed this weeks task and you will all live on basic rations and sleep in the tents provided in the garden. Kim whispers to Martina "I knew this would happen...apologise Martina quickly", but Martina was having none of it and response "We will not live on basic rations and we will not be sleeping in the tents. We refuse to be treated in this manner". This statement brings quotes of "Too right" from Xavier and Marat claps his hands in approval. BB does not reply and the first set goes to the housemates.*
* Housemates sit down and eat together drawing strength from their victory over BB. At 7.00pm BB returns and informs the housemates " Weekly food supplies cannot be delivered until you have at least attempted the task. As you have yet to attempt the current task this weeks supplies will not be delivered.". The second set clearly goes to BB. Marat's blood begins to boil "Those ***** are withholding our food." Kim is also in a state of shock and says "They are trying to starve us into submission.can they do that?". Marat is now in full expletive flow "**** them..I am not being starved into nominating .who the ****do they think they are?. I am not going to nominate anyone, not now, not ever". Kim rubs Marat's shoulder in an attempt to calm him down*
*Goran laughs "Hay, since they were going to give us basic rations anyway, I don't see what the difference is of not having any rations at all. We will just have to make do with the food we have". Xavier gives his view "I agree with Marat...I say **** them". Martina the rebellion leader speaks "We will stand firm guys...we will win.we are champions after all".*
* Now they have stated their position the housemates now discuss what to do next. Marat is still pissed adding "If they think that those plump breasted chickens are going to be allowed to strut around the coup while we starve.then BB are clearly ****ed in the head". Kim turns a lighter shade of pale on Marat's suggestion of eating the chickens. Kim has grown close to the chickens during her time in the house and given them names and quite frankly she couldn't begin to think of eating James, Juju, Serena, Venus or Lleyton. Martina is in no mood to be messed with either and states bluntly "Listen there is no show without us...if they don't give us food we should all simply walk out on Saturday. Let us see how BB does with no housemates". Goran takes a less drastic view to Martina and states that they will have to live on the food from last week and the vegetables from the garden and all chip in to help. Marat is quick to give his support "Yes.even I will cook a meal this week.". The other's remember Marat's previous attempts at cuisine and Xavier mutters "Oh god" and even Kim grimaces at the thought of another Marat meal. Goran laughs and speaks on behalf of the other housemates when he says "My friend if we have to eat your cooking again I think we should all walk out now!". Marat grins and says "What.my mum said my meals from my cookery classes at school were very good". Goran replies "Marat she lied!". Marat laughs and pretends surprise as he says "No!". Goran's quips lightens the housemates and Martina says "Ok.we are going to survive together" and that brings agreements from all. Kim makes a note to talk to Marat about the chickens.*
* The remainder of the evening is spent with the housemates giving stories of their childhood. As expected each has many amusing tales to tell. Marat is plotting a way to get back at Martina for the ball incident. But not since the first week in the house have the housemates been so together.*
DAY 69
*After 10 weeks of conforming to Big Brother's whim it has become obvious that the housemates are no longer willing to simply be pawns in Big Brother's game*
*Housemates are awoken by BB at 7.30am with the announcement " Will housemates please vacate the bedrooms in 1 hour and bring all belongings they require to the tents in the garden. Housemates must note they will not be allowed back into the bedrooms until the end of the task". Still half asleep the housemates turn to Martina for guidance who states categorically "I am not sleeping in any cold, wet tent.how do they intend to get us out?". Xavier, the only other housemate to have already experienced sleeping in a tent has no intention of repeating the experience and suggests "They cannot lock us out of the bedroom if there is always one of us in here. We need a rota or something..". Marat desperate to return to sleep says "Ok.well if we agree we are staying put can we go back to sleep and discuss the rota later!". Tired and pissed by Big Brother's attitude the housemates all agree and promptly cover their heads and doze back to sleep.*
*At 8.30am BB announces to the housemates that they now have to vacate the room. Marat pushes his hand out from under the quilt and flips BB the finger. Xavier simply pulls the pillow over his head and even Kim who had previously preached negotiation but now felt BB had taken on a bully boy tone ignored the request and simply cuddled up to Marat. BB made two further attempts to get the housemates to leave, but with no success and eventually leaves the housemates.*
*Later the housemates are sitting in the bedroom discussing the rota when Martina says "Listen you guys.I have been thinking, we have to find a way at striking at BB before they strike at us. People tune into BB to see us..without us BB has no viewing figures. Without viewing figures BB has no advertisers and without advertisers it has no revenue". The housemates nod in agreement. Martina continues "So what we need to do is something that hits BB where it hurts...in their pockets". Goran laughs and says "What do you suggest we do...do nothing and bore the public to death?". Kim jokingly says "How about we only communicate with each other under covers so the viewers hear nothing!". The others are quick to pick up on the theme with Martina saying "I like it..well done Kim" Kim looks flustered and says "Hold on I was only joking ", but the idea had already been accepted. Goran promptly puts a towel over his head and laughs "Ok.if you want to talk to me you have to come under my towel". Marat joins in the fun by getting under his quilt and saying to Kim "Hay babes come under here a minute I have a big surprise for you". Goran wants to see this big surprise too and begins to walk over to Marat's bed, but with the towel over his head trips over a suitcase on the floor". On hearing the crash Marat pokes his head from under the quilt and sees his friend lying on the floor and bursts into hysterics, Martina and Xavier can't help but laugh as well.*
*Defying Big Brother's orders the housemates contrive to stay in the bedroom for much of the day, only venturing out periodically to fetch supplies from the kitchen or the bathroom. Through all this movement, at least one of the housemates remains in the bedroom to stymie Big Brother's plans to relocate them to the garden. Marat has escalated the rebellion by standing on top of the bed, and like the women's liberationists of the sixties when burning their bras, he rips off the microphone on his t -shirt (which is at all times required to be present) and encourages the others to do the same; "Set yourself free!" he shouts, laughing. The other housemates follow Marat's lead. As most communication is taking place under the cover of the blankets, without their microphones, the only audible sections of these conversations are loud laughs and high pitched exclamations of "Oh My God!". Goran has encouraged the housemates to do this in order to create interest as to what is going on under the blankets. In their own way each of the housemates has contributed to the seeming success of the rebellion. By dinner time, Big Brother still has not responded to the actions taken by the housemates and as they eat a simple dinner of baked beans and toast; "This may not be all that extravagant" says Martina, "But at least it is our choice!" "And at least we have our own beds" adds Xavier. Marat calls out "AMEN!!!" and Kim cuddles up to him.*
*With the housemates spending so much time together in such a confined space it was inevitable that they would get stir crazy. Martina's pyjama's have gone missing and to her displeasure she is forced to go to bed in one of Goran's shrunken T-Shirts. Her and Xavier have had several petty squabbles, the most intense when they were the only two left in the room and they were forced to decide who was to go to the toilet first and who was to stay to guard the bedroom. To alleviate his increasing boredom, Goran has taken to counting the number of times that Kim and Marat kiss during the day, as they lock lips yet again, he shouts; "19" and then whispers to Martina; "This is getting kind of repetitive!" To which Martina quips; "You must be so horny, I think you are the only guy who hasn't had some sort of action in here" Goran laughs; "I don't want to talk about it!". By the end of the night Xavier and Martina seem to have resolved their differences somewhat and Martina in her boredom paints Xavier's toe nails in her bright purple nail polish. Marat quips; "I always thought you were a bit queer..I guess this confirms it!" All the housemates laugh and Goran asks cheekily; "Do you think we were boring enough today?" Kim quips; "Us? Boring? Never!" And all drift to sleep in the belief that they have won their stand off with Big Brother*
DAY 70
* The housemates belief that their refusal to talk openly and to do very little will affect BB viewing figures is correct, however not in the way they planned. The housemates rebellion and the noises of passion and ecstasy that come from under the quilt of Kim and Marat has increased media/public interest. At one stage it was noted that a pair of feet were sticking out from each end of the bed!. The public are also interested in the sounds made by Marat and Goran who for two large men seemed to be able to remain submerged under the quilt on a single bed for quite some time with screams and giggles galore being heard. It is also noted that Xavier constantly volunteers for bedroom duty and spends almost all the time totally hidden from view with sounds of pulsating heavy breathing( and accompanying hand movements) coming from under his quilt. BB's viewing figures have increased by 10%, but the public is clearly on the side of the rebellious housemates and several newspapers have taken up the housemates cause naming them the BB martyrs. While BB viewing figures are up, their sponsors are not so keen on the adverse media publicity being generated. Of course the housemates do not know the media interest they have generated by their rebellion.
* Martina joins Goran under his quilt for a quick chat and moments later the shapes of two figures can be seen 'romping' and squirming. Goran is screaming out "Martina.....please my mother told me about girls like you " and Martina is heard giggling "Yes....and she was right". The actions of Goran and Martina have caught the attention of the remaining housemates and Marat whispers to the them (under a towel) "My god.....and you went on about me and Kim". Moments later Martina emerges red and flustered from under Goran's quilt with his boxers in her hand. Goran unravels himself from the quit that he then wraps round his waist and heads over to the draw to get a fresh pair of boxers. On opening the drawer Goran is confronted with no boxers only bras and pairs of thong knickers!. Goran then opens Marat's drawer only to find more women's underwear and it is only then that he notices that Martina is sitting on the bed with a big grin on her face. Martina was convinced that Goran had hidden her pyjamas thus forcing her to sleep in one of his shrunken t-shirts. During her bedroom rotation, Martina had removed all the guys boxers from their drawers and replaced them with thongs belong to herself and Kim. Now she held Gorans boxers in her hands and she shakes them as she whispers in his ear "Now you have a choice......wear some thongs or go butt naked!". Kim who was in on the trick with Martina explains all to Marat and Xavier who promptly burst into hysterics. Goran always good for a laugh rises to the challenge, takes a pair of lacy Victoria Secrets thongs and proceeds to put them on. Goran then stands there in all his glory and says "There.....do you think I'm sexy?". Martina turns to Kim and the two struggle to control themselves, eventually Martina advises "Goran .....you have it on back to front". This observation causes uproar and Marat advises Goran "You were just trying to make out you were too big to fit into them .....also I think you need to wax first. Martina do you have any wax left?". Goran's face takes on a look of horror - already struggling to remove the thongs and put them on the correct way he remembers Xavier's screams of agony of having hot wax poured all over him. Goran screams "No way......you are not waxing anything of mine. Besides Marat and Xavier your boxers aren't here either, so I would watch out if I were you". Suddenly Marat isn't laughing any more, but Kim nibbles his ear and says "Don't worry baby doll, you will fit into my thongs no problem!". Martina and Kim grin at each other.
* Food supplies are beginning to run low - they have no more flour to make bread, and tin supplies are low as are vegetables in the garden. Martina as head of the rebellion calls a meeting and the 5 all huddle together under a quilt to discuss their options. Marat is still all for killing a chicken, but knows that Kim would be upset if either James, Venus and friends were to suddenly appear in the oven. Martina says "Look...I don't know about you guys, but I think we should seriously walk on Saturday, but I think it has to be a group decision". Goran speaks "I have enjoyed my stay here and don't want to leave, but I am not prepared to be treated in this manner. I say walk". Marat sides with his friend saying "I love my food so I am not prepared to starve much longer.....Also if we leave on Saturday we can still play in the US Open. I need a couple of days practice anyway. I agree we should walk too". Kim is not keen to leave under such a cloud, but agrees that BB have acted in a terrible manner and nods in agreement. Xavier feels that he may be going on Saturday anyway, so it doesn't make any difference to him and nods also. Martina states "I will go the diary room and inform BB that if they do not provide us with food and allow us to sleep in our bedroom then we all walk on Saturday....and that will be the end of BB".
* The housemates emerge from under the quilt and Martina makes her way to the diary room where she informs BB "The housemates demand that you supply us with our weekly provisions and allow us to sleep in the bedroom. If our demands are not met within the next 24 hours all the housemates will leave the BB house on Saturday morning". BB reply is direct and almost dismissive, "BB does give in to blackmail and the housemates are reminded that it is they who have broken the rules by refusing to participate in the weekly task". On hearing BB response Martina leaves the diary room and goes back to inform the housemates on what has just occurred.
* The guys spend the remainder of the day looking for their boxers shorts. Goran is continually complaining that the thongs are digging into him and states "Damn...how do you girls wear these things". Kim and Martina laugh, with Kim saying "The things we do for men!". Later as they lie in bed Kim says "This is it .......in the next 24 hours we will know if this is the end of BB".

Tennis Big Brother Written by Jenn & Mags
Days 71 - 80
Please note: there was a typing error in the original story: days 72 & 73 are not accounted for: they appear as days 74 & 75, so you are not missing any days!
DAY 71
*If the housemates had thought that they were now in control of their environment, having successfully couped against the Big Brother authorities, then Big Brother was intent on dispelling this idea. Throughout a day of petulance and defiance from the housemates, Big Brother had remained silently stewing over the dilemma presented to him; planning a method to reassert his authorities over the 5 renegades*
*At around 6AM, Marat is so stifled by spending virtually a whole two days inside, that he wakes Kim and encourages her to join him outside to get some fresh air; this of course was out of character for him - renowned as the greatest sleepers in the house. The two head out to the chicken coop and he shows Kim where he had hid Martina's pyjamas, behind the chicken's shelter, Kim giggles; "That was you? Maybe if you give them back to her she will think about giving your underpants back!" He laughs. The two then feed the chooks and Kim shows how early in her time in the house she had learnt how to pet the roosters, Marat finds this very amusing and Kim laughs; "I wasn't joking they are seriously my pets, I will have a hard time leaving them if we walk out of here tomorrow!" Then Marat says that perhaps it would be good for their relationship if he acted more like a chicken, seeing as she was so enamoured with them, and he proceeds to get up and put on a chicken act. Kim can't help but laugh at his self-deprecating humour*
*However Big Brother has worked quickly to take advantage of the separation between these two and the three sleeping in the bedroom. He locks the door to the bedroom, and when Kim and Marat attempt to return to bed at about 7AM, they find that Big Brother has locked them out. And they knock loudly on the door to the bedroom in order to awaken the other housemates*
*Meanwhile Big Brother has turned on the sprinklers, designed to be used in case of a fire, in the bedroom .The indoor, unexpected shower has stunned the slumbering housemates. "What is this? What the hell? This is ridiculous" Martina crows as water runs down her face, soaking her hair, her bed and all her other possessions. Xavier watches the water splash all over his face and although he attempts to ignore it and continue to sleep, within minutes his doona gets so saturated that he has to get out of bed (in only a thong mind you and a fairly obvious morning glory). Martina laughs at the obvious bulge in Xavier's thong; "Don't laugh!" he blushes; "It happens to all guys!" Goran, who is overcome with anger and Big Brother's latest prank, sees the funny side of the situation; "Give the guy a break, he is in a thong after all!". The three unlock the door as the sprinklers get heavier and continue to drench everything in the room. Looking like three drowned rats, Kim and Marat can't help but laugh at their fellow housemates. Martina is not impressed. As they close the door behind them, Goran realises that he is now unable to re-open the door. Big Brother has locked them out of the bedroom "We've been tricked!" he screams, "You would think after 10 weeks we would be a bit smarter than this". "And we don't even have any clothes" Xavier bemoans. Martina is furious; "Typical bully boy tactics, I say we walk out now, if Big Brother thinks that these sort of tactics are going to keep us in the house, he has another thing coming". However she fails to gather enthusiastic support from any of the other housemates. Kim, having spent such a serene morning with Marat, is not totally keen for the experience to end and either is Marat anymore. And Goran has rethought his original motives and now believes that leaving the house would be punishing themselves, not only Big Brother; "I say we tough it out, at least for the next 24 hours. Lets see what he (Big Brother) has got in store for us. This could be fun!" Martina is not convinced but is willing to persevere, "We will give him until tomorrow. But if conditions don't improve by then, the walk out is still on, right?" The housemates nod, but it is not as forceful an agreement as it was yesterday*
*In the afternoon, the housemates are appearing particularly drawn, with minimal food consumed over the past day or so (and supplies continuing to dwindle). They are unable to reach the powders, deodorants, soaps, and fresh clothes locked within the bedroom. Kim has finally lost her nerve with the situation and is going back to her original stance on the topic; "I told you all this wouldn't work out! Rations would have been easier". Marat and Goran have no qualms about telling Kim to shut up, "Babe, we can't look back now..there is no point! What is done is done!". Martina has continued to descend into her self righteous mode and Juan Carlos' absence finally appears to be taking its toll on her, she tells Xavier and Kim later; "Its all about principle, we can't take this crap anymore, how much longer can we follow orders especially at the expense of our unity as a group? Without Juan Carlos, I just can't go through any more division or tumult. I just want a normal couple of weeks!"*
*As the day descends into evening the housemates' attention once again turns to the walk out, but Big Brother cuts into their discussion. "This is Big Brother. Kim to the diary room" Kim is called into the diary room and Big Brother asks her to make the proposition to the other housemates to defer their decision on walking out until Monday morning, when a new and exciting phase of the Big Brother project will be announced. Kim relays this to the anxious housemates and although Martina and Marat have their suspicions that this could be yet another deceit of Big Brother, Goran sees the opportunity as too good to give up; "Come on, lets not all forget that the end is only two weeks away. Looking back we have had a ball in here. Don't you want to see what will happen next?" Xavier chimes in "I'm with Goran, we have played the game all the way through, why give up at this late stage?" Martina reminds them of the problems that had been presented to them this week; "I have to admit, this proposal has lure, but if this is another trick, I will not have any hesitation in walking out! And when do we get access back to the bedroom?" Kim tells them that the bedroom is part of the plan, and all will be revealed in good time?" The housemates lay on the floor boards in the living room, attempting to go to sleep after eating a limited meal of tin food. Xavier can feel the thong riding up his bum; "These may look sexy on gals, but they must be nuts to wear them" Goran chimes; "Talking of nuts, mine are a little cramped for room in this thing!" All the housemates laugh. Martina tells the housemates that this is all she had wanted all along, a united house. Marat notices the hardness of the floors, not willing to romanticize the situation they were in; "This thing Big Brother is talking about better be good, I'm dying here!" Has BB managed to prolongue the inevitable, or will the housemates stay for good? One more will definitely leave tomorrow, but will the other four follow within hours? *
DAY 74
*After a weekend consumed with the usual rhythm of eviction and nomination the housemates awake, having farewelled Xavier on Saturday and finally feeling that home stretch is well and truly upon them. They have spent the last three days locked out of the bedroom and although Big Brother has supplied them with additional food and one change of new clothes (to which Martina bemoaned the lacking fashion sense of Big Brother), they remain resolved to walk out of the household if the eagerly awaited.*
*Goran, like he has the last four weeks, make light of surviving yet another eviction; "People never liked me as much on the court as they like me in this house!" Marat quips; "That's because you have kept your schizophrenia in control in here." Goran laughs; "you are probably right. Meanwhile Kim is romanticizing the whole experience; "I think these hard floors have been good for my back" Martina, never at her most flattering when forced to 'rough it' snipes, half jokingly; "Oh would you stop being so optimistic.!" Kim goes on to say that perhaps leaving today would be a fitting end to the series, given that they all deserved to win, and that leaving together would solidify all their friendships. This reminds the other three, who from Day 1 had always been the most focused of all the housemates on winning, of their primary aim and they hardly respond to Kim's comments. The three exchange glances and then Marat quickly changes the subject; "I just want this wait to be over, what the hell is Big Brother hiding in there?"*
*As the day wears on, the new round of nominations are announced. Unsurprisingly it is Goran who is nominated again, he raises his arms and shouts a sarcastic; "Yes! F*** I would have felt weird not being nominated!" Martina and Kim's names are announced next, and they smile emptily; nominations is hardly the drama that it had been in the early period in the house - all three were relative veterans. Of Course the housemates had been well aware that whoever escaped today's nomination would have a free pass through to the final, and that person was Marat. Goran leads a cheer for his great friend, and the two girls give him a kiss on the cheek. His electric razor had been in the bedroom, and having not shaved since Thursday, his face was now quite prickly, Martina quips; "Your like a pineapple". Kim says; "But a sweet one!" and gives him a pash. Goran rolls his eyes; "Please, I think you should have been in the bedroom when Big Brother turned the sprinkler on - I can't handle this lovey dovey bullshit!" Martina giggles*
*In the afternoon it is left for the four to split into their gender specific groups; Marat and Goran head outside to their home turf out in the backyard and around the basketball ring. Marat is philosophical; "I know you think I am going crazy man, but its like in this house I have grown up. I have spent all my life chasing really sexy women, and Kim isn't my usual type of girl. Its something about her that just sucks me in and holds me. It could be love..." Goran is taken aback by Marat's candidness; "You are really serious aren't you? I'm proud of you man." He laughs. Marat looks a little defensive. Goran reassuredly pats him on the back; "I really am, and all this time I was thinking you were just a shameless skirt chaser!" Marat softens; "Well don't give me too much credit, I could regress at any moment!" The two boys laugh as they casually shoot hoops methodically into the ring.*
*The two girls meanwhile are inside and Kim has fallen into talking about how she never expected to get this far in the house; "If someone had told me when we first came in here that I was going to be one of the last four standing, I would have laughed. I mean I am just so ordinary, Marat's the hunk, Goran's the funny guy, you are the sassy gal and what am I? Just a girl!" Martina laughs; "You do give yourself far less credit than you deserve, as far as tactics go, you have played the perfect game!" Kim laughs this off; "I don 't know what you mean" Martina says; "You have played this game so well" Kim continues to act blissfully naïve, and Martina, back to fully exploiting her strategies drops the topic quickly and moves on; "All that will be irrelevant anyway, I am thinking more and more about walking out, it seems Big Brother is continuing to play us for fools" Kim nods in agreement; "But I'll have to leave my chickens, you know how much I love them!" Marti giggles*
*The housemates clean out the final cans of tinned food, and Big Brother had not offered anymore food. Marat finally returns Martina's pyjamas, and she is very delighted although she finds chicken feathers all over them; "I won't ask where they have been, at least they are fresh clothes!" Marat and Goran then cough, prompting Martina to return their boxer shorts, Martina and Kim just laugh. "They are in the bedroom, I guess you'll have to where the thongs for a few more days". Marat and Goran moan. However this reminds them that Big Brother had promised to allow access to the bedroom today, and Marat is quick to count this as a trick, and Martina agrees with him. Although both desperately want to win, they are also obstinate and determined not to compromise their values in full view of the public, after much discussion and a trip to the diary room by Goran which provided no definitive answer from Big Brother, Martina and Marat place the pressure on the other two to walk out. For the first time, Marat sees so much of himself in Martina; "Martina is right, they are playing us for fools. I want to spend the last two weeks, but not at the expense of my personal integrity" Martina is happy at finding a new ally. Goran and Kim are less keen to leave, but they are notoriously laid back, Goran says; "Give it time!" This debate goes on well into the night, and after the last beers have been drunk, it is eventually cut short by Big Brother; "You may now enter the bedroom. Tread Carefully." All four are mesmerised by these words and head to the bedroom, as the clock strikes midnight..
DAY 75
*The housemates eagerly push the door open expecting to find the boudoir they had retired to for the past 12 weeks. They gasp in shock at the scene. The room is darkened and a few flashing lights highlight the room. In the centre of the room there are four chairs with the names of the four remaining housemates on them. Then a voice; "Hello Housemates, this is Big Brother. This week you will face your last major task in the house. This will be a military operation, and this will room will be your headquarters. On those four chairs you will each find a pager, and a pair of army clothes each to be worn from the moment you wake up in the morning to the moment you go to bed at night. Your pager must be carried on you at all times, so that you can receive messages of your new tasks, and alert other housemates to the potential tasks. As well as earning your livelihood for this week, for each task you complete you will be asked to nominate a charity and a donation will be made to this organization. Your military assignment will begin at 600 hours this morning. Welcome to the Big Brother military challenge."*
*The housemates are at first in a small amount of shock at all the information they have just received. The four go to check out their uniforms and Martina is quite disgusted; "Really, Big Brother has got to be joking. First he locks us out of our room for half a week and now he is expecting us to where these awful Khaki costumes." She goes to find all her usual clothes in the wardrobe and finds that they are missing - the closet has been stripped bear. Goran laughs at her but she snaps back; "Well wherever my clothes are, your boxers are with them, I guess you will be wearing that thong for the rest of the week!" Goran responds quickly to this criticism as he dons the new set of clothes, removing his thong along the way, and then announces; "If I can't get my Boxers Back, then I will be a commando, going commando" Marat laughs and decides that he too will go "Commando". The girls are disgusted, but Martina quips; "If you don't want to wear any underpants then don't be expecting us (her and Kim) to be watching them.you can do the woman's work". Kim nods her head; and then suggests that they all get some sleep and Martina agrees as her mood has darkened again, she is never at her best when things don't go her own way. Marat attempts to get the last quip in as he cuddles up to Kim; "Martina you are such a whining woman" But Martina is now at her most acidic and she croaks as she attatches her pager to her pyjama bottoms; "So are you!" Goran and Kim erupt laughing*
*The housemates are awoken early in the morning by the beeping of Kim's pager, she is told that the four must head outside to retrieve their weekly food supplies using a metal detector to suss out the tin food. "Great the food is buried. Dirty food" jokes Marat. Martina's buzzer then beeps, she is to go to the diary room to retrieve the metal detectors and shovels. She drags herself out of bed, quickly but begrudgingly dons her khakis, then looks in the mirror and notices a ray of light in her fashion debarcle; "This house is kind of cute, isn't it?" she smiles. Goran and Marat roll their eyes and tell Martina to get her butt into the diary room. She returns minutes later struggling with the load of 8 instruments; "Come on my strong handsome men, help the weak frail girl" Marat jokes; "Well since you asked so nicely.." And he and Goran relieve Martina of the load. The four then head out to the backyard with the metal detectors and scan the terrain. What they find are many reminders of their time in the house, but struggle to find what they have been looking for. Goran is the first to call the housemates attention to a bleep on the radar. The housemates set about digging, but it is only a beer can around the area at which the first real party had taken a place in the house; that ruthless game of truth and dare. The housemates laugh at the memory. Martina soon finds another metal alert but it turns out to be Jenn's mood ring - she had buried it on her final day in the house - with it was a letter in typical Jenn style; "If you are reading this, you are still in the BORING house, while I am in the REAL world having the TIME OF MY LIFE!" Martina fondly remembers her friend. After several other false alarms including a stud from Juan Carlos' soccer boots and a pair of cooking utensils from one of the many barbeques they had had in the house, Kim finally seems to have found what they have been looking for. The housemates rush over and begin to dig, "This has to be it," Marat laments; "It is so deep, if it is not it I am going to give up and starve this week!" After toiling with sweat and several complaints from the quartet, a box of a week's food supplies is found about four feet underground; containing non perishable foods - it had obviously been placed there before the series had started. The four housemates share some of the fresh bread, making sandwiches fort afternoon tea/dinner.*
*The housemates are congratulated for successfully completing their first task in the house and the housemates wish to have the night to think about the $10,000 to be made to a charity of their choice.*

DAY 76
*The housemates awake early in the morning to the sound of a sharp siren ringing from the backyard. Realizing that this was part of their military task, Martina quickly jumps out of bed, dons her khaki’s which she is now relatively comfortable in and enlists Goran’s help to go and investigate what is happening in the garden. Goran, who is in the habit of wearing his uniform 24 hours a day, at first is dismissive of Martina and tells her to get back to bed, but her enthusiasm soon wears him down – the two had slowly, but surely become closer friends over recent weeks. The two giggle as they see Marat totally unmoved after the siren; “He could sleep though a punk rock concert!” Goran rolls his eyes.*
*Once outside, Goran and Martina examine the situation, the early morning air is silent and crisp – it was so normal. Goran moans; “Big Brother woke us up for this? He better have as better excuse than this or I’ll…..” he pauses and Martina jumps in laughing; “Or you’ll what? Punch a mysterious voice” Goran laughs, and the two continue to look for what may be the cause for the alarm with little success. Finally Goran’s pager goes off; “Under the recycle bin you will find an infestation” Martina can’t help but laugh at that suggestion ; “Ohhhhhhh I love cryptic clues”. Inside, Kim’s pager has forced her to get up from her semi-sleep beside, Marat and she nudges her lover; “Up Boy!” she calls. “I love it when you call me boy, baby.” The two kiss and then head out to the backyard to join the other two*
*Meanwhile Martina has hurried to the recycle bin, but had trouble lifting it up, Goran jokes; “please this is man’s work” and to Martina’s mock applause he lifts it to reveal a at least a of rubber snakes, Goran quivers; “Get them away from me!” Martina thinks that her friends is joking at first, but when she sees a look of genuine fear on his face she laughs; “You are not serious are you?” He says nothing, and she comments, half sarcastically “Oh my God! You are serious! Big Man Goran is scared of snakes. Come on, they are only rubber!” Goran asks Martina please not to tell the other two about his phobia in regard to snakes; “They just make me shiver!”. Martina agrees to this; “I’m not that mean” she smiles cheekily. On their way out to the garden; Marat’s pager had gone off and detailed todays challenge, he reads it out to the group “Today, the military operation is threatened by poisonous tropical snakes; it your task to remove them from the garden using a devised method. You will be supplied with a bag, but you must not touch them with your hands because they are very poisonous. In fact you will be able to see a large circle drawn within a 2 foot radius of the bin, now that you have uncovered the snakes you are not allowed inside this circle. Touching the snakes, or crossing this circle will result in a failed task.”*
*For someone who is normally so proactive in tasks, Goran is surprisingly quiet and only Martina knows why. The task ends up deceptively difficult, there are very few long outreaching objects in the garden. The girls convince Marat that as he has the longest arms he should use a few of the longest twigs to be found in the garden to try to reach the snakes. After several failed attempts he throws the twigs out of the complex in anger and storms off to the chicken coop to cool down. The focus then turns to Martina, Kim says; “Martina you are known as the master tactician. You should be able to come up with some strategies here!” Martina is utterly stumped, when Marat finally returns he suggests that they use the hook on the girls bras to reach down, attach and capture the snakes. Kim thinks this ingenious, but Martina points out that it will be difficult to reach across with the bras along the ground because of their limp nature. Marat in exasperation turns to Goran; “Man, whats wrong with you? Snake got your tongue?” he smiles. As if suddenly empowered Goran, jumps up, and decides to face his fear of snakes, “I have an idea”, he looks to the clothes line which is in very close vicinity to the recycle bin and explains his plan; to be tied to the clothes line and dangle on top of the pile of snakes, dangle the bra down and use the bra hook as Marat had suggested; “That could work, way to go man! Your not just an ugly face!” Martina jumps in, concerned for her friend; “are you sure you want to do this?” Goran nods. The plan is then put into action magnificently, he hooks the snakes one by one onto Martina’s bra and dumbs them into a bag that Kim is holding*
*Finally victorious, the housemates congratulate Goran for the large part of the effort and then after dinner decide to give themselves a rest in the Jacuzzi and enjoy a few alcoholic beverages. As the housemates wind down all together in the Jacuzzi for the first time in weeks, tongues begin to wag and they fall into a conversation about the development of romance in the house. Martina confesses that earlier in her time in the house she had a little crush on Marat; “only a little one!” she giggles. Marat laughs; “Well why didn’t you come after me?” Martina says; “you were with Jenn! I guess it was lucky because Juan Carlos turned out to be the best person for me! I think we, you and me, are too alike to ever be lovers”. Kim is able to laugh at all this, and Goran finds it fascinated; “Basically everyone in here should have just had an orgy; everyone wanted to hump each other anyway”. The housemates all laugh!*
DAY 77
*After a jovial night of alcohol and revelations that went well into the night, the housemates can be excused for being bleary eyed by the morning. The housemates are now becoming quite nostalgic and they know that this will be there last full day together as a quartet. As the four arise of their own accord, for the first time in days without an instruction from Big Brother, they head out onto the verandah and have breakfast together, Goran continues to lament his lack of underwear; “If I leave tomorrow, Big Brother better be giving my boxers back, or else I am going to go out of this house stark naked” Marat winces at the thought of his friend naked, especially after remembering the naked chef routine; “Oh no please!” and then he looks to the sky as if addressing a higher being; “Please Big Brother spare us from Goran’s hairy arse” The girls giggle. As if on cue, Martina’s pager goes off and Marat scowls; “Damn, that wasn’t the response I was looking for”*
*The task today is a military style-training course in which the housemates must use their guile to overcome a series of obstacles. The first is an exercise in which the housemates must carry buckets of water from the pool to fill a drum on the opposite side of the garden within a 5 minute time frame. Easy enough, accept the buckets are full of holes. The housemates struggle with this task as they run back and forwards with water dripping everywhere the grass becomes particularly slippery and Goran loses his footing numerous times; “You would think since I won Wimbledon I would be able to walk on grass!” The housemates end up throwing buckets of water across the garden at each other as one after the other becomes frustrated with the buckets dwindling supplies, Marat says; “I fill the bucket and by the time I get there (to the drum), its only a quarter full!” By the end of the 5 mins the drum is scarcely half full and the housemates fail this segment of the task*
*The next task is for the male housemates to transport the female housemates across the pool without the female housemates getting wet at all. In the end, Marat and Goran assist the girls to get across the pool by laying themselves out like a man-bridge. It works affectively, although it is indeed a painful task for the boys. After it is over Goran quips; “Marti, I think you should think about going on a diet!” Martina laughs; “I think you should think about going to them gym and punting on some muscle you runt” And the two spar playfully for a few minutes while Kim and Marat make a pact that if one o f them wins they will share they will share the prizemoney equally between them; “I so want to spend this last week with you baby” Kim says.*
*After another series of similar task the housemates are asked to nominate a charity to which they wish to donate their money, each choose a tennis based charity so as to assist the development of the young in their respective countries*
*After dinner, the housemates are asked to gather in the living room for a special presentation, as it turns out Big Brother is treating them to a movie night, and the four watch glued to Austin Power III, the first visual media they had watched in 3 months (apart from their own movie of course). The four are mesmerised by the hollywood spoof, simply because it was a new distraction in a house that had become if not unexciting, at least predictable. The housemates then fall into a conversation about the first person they wish to talk to when they get out of the house, all nominate their parents, Martina saying; “You know, when you grow up you think that they are just providers, sure you love them and they love you, but you don’t realise that you are really friends too. I have missed my Mum so much in here”.*
*Later on, as the housemates settle into bed, Goran says; “You know, its scary there are only 9 days to go after today. Even if I don’t go tomorrow, we will all be coming out of here in just over a week. It is going to be so weird!” Marat agrees; “It has been so great in here I don’t want it to stop” Goran laughs; “If I go tomorrow, don’t become whipped I am telling you. I’ll be watching on the outside, and if you let these two women control you, you are in for a beating when you get out!” Martina can’t help but laugh at this comment; “Me? Controlling? Never!!” Kim kisses Marat on the cheek and rubs his inner thigh. Goran laughs at the prospect of Marat being left with the two girls*
DAY 80
*On the weekend the household farewelled possibly its most illuminating character, in Goran, the houses’ perpetual joker and live wire. Unlike the previous evictions which Marat, which apart from Serena’s had had little to no effect on him, this really shocks Marat, reminding him that perhaps he is not the certainty he had always felt himself to be. As they roll out of bed, Marat kissing all around Kim’s neck area, knowing that they will never again wakeup on a Monday in the house, Kim reminds Marat that they should make every effort to include Martina this week; “We are a family now, we can’t just focus on each other. She is kind of like a sister to me now” Marat kisses her; “You are such a good person, that’s what gets me about you!”*
*Martina is a little shell-shocked, that after all her mood swings, human struggles, friendships and arguments she remains in the house for the concluding week, as her and Kim talk over breakfast about the quietness of the house she concludes; “I guess people have come to love my crankiness…I’m human and I guess that’s what people relate to.” Kim agrees; “Now if you were natural in the way Serena and Jenn were, that would be a different story – they were just TOO natural” The two girls giggle as they discuss the goings on in the house over the past 3 months, going write back to the very first party in the house, and that hilarious game of truth and dare; “That was the first time I kissed Juan Carlos, remember? Goran, or was it Marat asked some ridiculous question and his dare was to kiss me. I guess I have them to thank now. Geez it feels like yesterday….” Martina pauses realizing that the first weeks in the house, and reminiscing about that party would bring back memories of Lleyton. But Kim dispels her fears; “Don’t you worry Marti, I’m tough now” she giggles; “I have Marat and that’s all I need”
*Marat, who had finally got all his personal possessions back from Big Brother after the conclusion of the military task on Saturday has resolved not to shave for the rest of the time in the house, after emerging from the bathroom wet and topless he tells the girls; “Last week I grew a few whiskers, I might see if I can grow a bit of a goatee, just to top of my sexy image for the final eviction show. Chicks will be all over me!” Kim looks at him in mock disappointment and Marat quips; “Joking sweetie, I only have eyes for you now, unless Marti wants to have a bit of threesome action?” Martina laughs; “I think I can go without it” She turns to Kim as Marat slinks into the bedroom “He’s such a loose canon, he is going to be like a kid in a candy store when he walks onto that eviction podium, you’ll have to have a collar and leash to control him” Kim giggles; “Don’t worry he is my pet, I have him trained well” And the two girls laugh at Marat’s expense.*
*In the afternoon the housemates are issued with their final task, albeit a pretty relaxed one. The housemates must each make a video diary, using hand held cameras the housemates must make video diaries of one of the other housemates, logging the highs and lows of their experience in the house. Marat will produce “kim-cam”, Kim will produce “martina-cam” and Martina will produce “Marat-cam”. The three housemates must also gather together objects from around the house to be buried as a “time capsule” in the garden. Marat jokingly suggests that they should find the chicken bones from the night in which they had roasted the chicken in starvation, but this Kim finds this joke tactless and tells him to leave a sensitive subject alone. Marat quickly quietens down. And Martina breaks out laughing. When the other two ask her what is wrong she replies; “Just thinking about what Goran would say if he had seen that scene just then. He would probably tell you that you (marat) were completely ‘whipped’” The three housemates erupt into laughter.*

Tennis Big Brother Written by Jenn & Mags
Days 81 - end
DAY 81
*The housemates awake on Tuesday morning, determined to make the most of what time they have left in the house, even if it is just in having a damn good time. The three have a swim in the morning, and then receive their hand-held video cameras from Big Brother and probe each other for information. Martina takes on Marat and asks questions and receives responses which are both humorous and intimate given that the two had come to know each other very well after spending three months with each other 24/7. Martina asks; “So what is it like being the stud of the house” Marat replies, trying to be earnest, “Of course, it has been a lot of fun, virtually from Day 1 I have had action in the bedroom. How can a man complain about that?” Martina goes on to ask him about his feelings for Kim; “I just think she is a great girl, I think just maybe I am falling, just a little bit in love with her!” Martina giggles and the two then head into the bedroom to join Kim in searching for the right objects to include in the time capsule, Kim has dug up Tim’s y-fronts from the first week in the house, and thinks along with Marat’s flag-pole Calvin Klein Boxers they should be thrown in. Marat laughs; “And lets not forget THOSE small shirts, hell you can bury all of them, they are useless anyway”*
*In the afternoon the three settle into a discussion about getting back into the rhythm of training and competitive tennis. All three are hoping that the game hasn’t evolved too much while they have been in the house, but all three agree that they would not exchange this experience to go back an play those three months on tour, Marat stating; “I know we may have missed two Grand Slams (Wimbledon and US Open), but really this is once in a lifetime experience. All three of us have at least 10 more years to play tennis, we will never do this again, so we can have no regrets about it.” Martina agrees “What an experience this has been. Absolutely weird, but also very rewarding” Both her and Marat appear to be gearing up for a victory this weekend, and their tactics appear to be coming to the fore by being more vocal, but very positive in their comments. Kim meanwhile, who had spent much of the time in the house wishing she was on the outside is now in her comfort zone and the sudden change to “real reality” as she calls it, frightens her. Marat reassures her; “We will all be there to help you through it. Don’t worry babe”. When Martina goes to get some drinks for the three of them she finds the apron that Goran had used in his naked chef routine and shouts out from the kitchen; “I’ve found another thing to put in the capsule” Marat and Kim burst out laughing when they see it, and then resolve that everyone of the 15 housemates should be represented through an object in the capsule, Kim states; “well that’s 4 down, 11 to go”*
*As the three spend a relatively uneventful day in the house, in which they had commented on how utterly “boring” they must have been for the audience, they retire to bed and then the raunchiest act in the house for weeks takes place. As the three discuss who exactly had kissed who during the time in the house, Marat lists off which girls he had kissed, the three soon realise that it included everyone bar Martina and Venus. He had kissed Jennifer in their steamy action in the first week in the house, Serena on numerous occasions in a friendly manner, Monica during the fashion show, Justine during the movie task and of course Kim. Kim takes one of her only provocative steps in the house by suggesting that in order to square up the ledger, the three should have a three way pash. Marat of course is all for the action – was his dream for threesome action coming true? Martina also was keen to shed the tag of “one-kiss-wonder” having only kissed Juan Carlos during her time in the house. Even Kim had kissed two guys and for Martina, who had always prided herself on her sexuality, this was another opportunity. She urges the two; “It doesn’t mean anything anyway, I mean I still want to be with Juan Carlos when I get out, its just a kiss, right?” Kim, who had suggested it, is now backing away from her idea, but the other two are so enthusiastic that she slowly comes around. The three move closer to each other gradually, as at first Marat, then Martina stops short giggling. Eventually the three link in a passionate kiss, tongues flailing, for a 30 second union. The three than laugh themselves uncontrollably to sleep; Marat calling out; “Now there is one for the highlights reel”*
STAY TUNED OVER THE NEXT THREE DAYS FOR A REVIEW OF EACH OF THE REMINAING HOUSEMATES TIME IN THE HOUSE, BEGINNING WITH THE BEST OF MARAT….
DAY 82
*After last nights theatrics the three housemates roll out of bed just before midday, realising that the end to big brother is just 4 days away. Marat soon sets to work out in the chicken coop, working on Kim's video diary, Kim gives some powerful insights into her time in the house; "honestly I never thought I would get this far, I fully admit I am one of the most boring, normal, everyday people in the world" She giggles, uninhibited. She turns to a beaming Marat; "I think it may have something to do with the stud I have hooked up with...they just don't want to seperate us!" Marat laughs and Kim goes on to talk about the first weeks in the house m friednships and getting over Lleyton; "My motto for all my life forever will be to dust yourself off and try again, there is always something good lurking just around the corner!"*
*Martina is inside and has found solace in grouping together some of her clothes, and treasured belongings in a meditative sort of state. So many memories are bound up in the house and whether win or lose she will be out within a matter of days. Outwardly she is of course a cocky individual, who borders on arrogance, but she is now realising just how unique the experience really was. She looks at Jenn's mood ring, which she found last week, and it is shining a light blue whispy colour - a sign of pensiveness. She is interrupted by Kim who joins her in the bedroom for a girl chat about the outside world, Kim giggles; "Do you think the world has changed much since we have been in here? Maybe aliens have taken over the earth" Martina giggles, holding onto Jenn's ring tightly as an emotion steadier. She explains the significance of the ring to Kim for the record in her video journal, and then goes on to say; "These sort of things (the ring) are special, they give you a special feeling. Jenn left it here for a reason. Everything has a reason, that is what I have learnt in here. This house can drive you nuts, but you end up in a better place in the end. As for this ring, it has given me guidance, and jenn before me, and now it will go in the capsule to be found by others in the future." She finally realeases the ring, giving it to Kim to put with the other things in the time capsule pile Kim alos adds Justine's overalls, the pair that she had left to Kim after she had left the house , but which gained fame during the movie task.*
*Night Falls once again, and the three housemates talk about nerves as the penultimate eviction draws near*
THE BEST OF MARAT.....
* Marat 'Your so vain' Safin encompassed all that we would love and hate in a housemate. During his time in the BB house Marat has been lazy in leaving the domestic chores to fellow housemates, has caused major friction among the ladies of the house due to his roving eye and been unpopular with some of the guys(Tim and James in particular) due to his arrogant attitude. And yet, along with his sidekick Goran, Marat provided much of the entertainment in the house too... it was he who loosened Xavier's thong during the fashion show that lead to a very grand finale and it was his idea to play catch with Serena's bra. Earlier in the house Marat and Goran became notorious for linking up with Serena in what they called "The troublesome trio", the three had a practical joke war in the first weeks, turning the household upside down. Marat's early passion with Jenn, and his constant flirtations with Serena solidied his position as the house casonova, and only once did this title come under threat, with the arrival of the intruder, James. After Lleyton's departure, he gradually became closer to Kim and by the time the journey was two thirds through, the odd couple were unlikely lovers. Marat showed his sensitive side in wooing Kim into his arms - proving that he was more than just a pretty face afterall. Last week he said goodbye to his great friend Goran, and has now got his eyes on the prize. Of all the housemates Marat has received thee least number of votes and has never been in danger of being evicted. He is the outright favourite going into the final weekend because he is not only sexy and good looking, but in his final summation is a man with a big heart and a lot to give.

DAY 83
*Knowing that this will be their last full day in the house as a trio, the three must set about completing this weeks task - and bring closure to their Big Brother expererience.*
*In the morning Marat goes shirtless in the garden to dig where Big Brother has marked a large X, this is where the time capsule is to be buried. Martina laughs; "I thought you didn't do domestic?" Marat giggles: "This isn't domestic, this is man's work - hard labour!" "Get to it then boy" Martina orders jokingly. She and Kim then relax under the rotunda by the pool and watch Marat's rippling upper body muscles sweat and glisten in the sun; "Now that is what I call my man" Kim says playfully to Martina. The two then decide to leave Marat to his work (the only really labour he had done for the whole time in the house) and head inside to finish the job on collecting items to put into the capsule. Martina giggles as she places her wax into the increasing pile of items. This was to represent the time that she and Jenn had waxed Xavier's chest, for good measure she also throws in her nail polish that she had used to paint his nails. So far the list of items contains
- Tims Y-Fronts - Goran's Apron - Jenn's Ring - Justine's Overalls - Xavier's Wax/Nail Polish - Marat's Calvin Klein (House Flag) Briefs - The (infamous) Shrunken Shirts - representing serena's mischief
To the pile Kim and Martina add their own contributions, the hat that Martina had worn in the fashion show, that she had loved so much, and for Kim it was to be some chicken feed to represent the chooks who had been her most loyal friends throughout the whole time. Martina gathers some feathers from one of the hens in the yard to represent Monica's tendency to be the mother hen. Venus is represented by a basketball (it was she and juan carlos who set up the basket ball ring), Juan Carlos by a soccer ball (due to the fact a friendly soccer match was the place where Martina was first attracted to him). Painfully Kim dredges up the chocalate wrapper that she and Lleyton had shared together earlier in the house (for which they were scolded by Monica), she had been keeping it as a memory of her relationship with him; "What we had was good while it lasted, I don't hate him, I can't hate him. He helped me survive those early days . its over, but it was special". The girls cannot find anything to represent James or Andy and Kim feels bad; "They were part of this house too, and to not have them in here is a bit...i dunno...it doesn't seem right!" Martina, who was never on good terms with James dismisses the idea, "we can come back to it later...if we can find something. Its not personal, we are on a time limit."*
*The girls bring the pile out to the backyard, where a wilting Marat is lying down on the grass after successfully digging a hole. They have a garbage bag to place all the items in so that they won't get dirty underground. Cermonially they place each item into the bag and then Marat begrugingly buries it underground, before jumping into the pool to cool down*
*In the afternoon, the three are told to complete their video journals in the bedroom, while Big Brother is using the living room. Conversation turns to their outlook on winning as the concluding statement, each have quite a different outlook as potential winners:
*Martina says: "When I first came in here, I wanted to win, and I made no qualms about that. As I had my problems throughout my time in the house, winning became less important, but over this last week my urge to win has grown greater, but in a different, more healthy way. I don't think any of the housemates can honestly say that they didn't come in here to win, even if they want to convince us otherwise - and that is exactly what I am here to do - win!"*
*Kim Says; "Winning would be nice, absolutely. But the cash will mean nothing to me compared to everything else I have gotten out of this house - love, friendships, and a new outlook on life"*
*Marat says: "Of course, I am going to win, no one wants to see a woman win *laughs* Seriously, though, winning is the main objective for being here, and if I win then great. If I don't well....I might have to smash a few raquets when I get out"*
*After a couple of hours, the three file into the living room and Big Brother has prepared a banquet for them. Around the long table he has set 15 places, one for each of the housemates who occupied the house over the three month period. He has also attatched a card board cut out on 12 of the chairs, each representing an image of the 12 evicted housemates. Martina, Marat and Kim look and laugh, remembering their fellow housemates and falling into a coversation about them. They fill the three untaken places at the head of the table. kim comments; "there is enough food to feed all 15 of us". Marat laughs; "I think Goran looks a bit hungry, oh well, he can't so I guess I will have to eat his serve for him." He gobbles greedily*
*After further coversation, the three housemates drift to sleep, knowing that after tommorrow, one of them will be gone. And the other two will have just two days before they too depart the house forever*
THE BEST OF MARTINA..... Martina ' I'm Real ' Hingis has oscillated between innocent girl and tactical villain during her time in the house. Deeply competitive and at times seemingly willing to do or say anything in order to win, Martina has survived numerous eviction attempts as the public have forgiven her faults and embraced her humanity. In return for the public sticking with her Martina has developed into a popular housemate showing both her caring and fun side as her priorites and outlook on life have changed.
At times the strain of living in the confines of the BB house began to take it's toll on Martina with her stealing the fruit during the rations week and falling out with fellow housemates. Her time has been a tumultous one, as at first she appeared not to quite fit in with the other housemates (apart from Jenn), then became a key character before seemingly being derailed again as thoughts of victory clouded her head. At her lowest point Martina seemed to loose her nerve as she accused Kim of creating Lleytongate in order to get public sympathy and for a time isolated herself from the group. However strong friendships were built with fellow housemates Monica and Jenn and in the latter stages with Kim and romance also blossomed for the Swiss Miss, building a strong and bonding relationship with Juan Carlos, the quiet man of the house. Martina also showed off her strong leadership qualities, leading the housemates during their rebellion with BB. Martina remains a darkhorse for the title, if she wins it will be due to the public's acceptance of her as a human being with flaws and strengths, high and lows, like us all. If she loses it will be due to her over-agressiveness, and sharp tongue.
MARTINA'S GREATEST HITS
* Funniest moment - making Goran, Marat and Xavier wear thongs/assisting Jenn in waxing Xavier's chest.
* Worst moment - Accusing Kim of being false during Lleytongate, and her generally neurotic behaviour for a two week period in the house.
* Most devious moment - Stealing the fruit during ration week
*Greatest Friends - Jennifer, Monica, Juan Carlos, Kim

THE BEST OF KIM....
Kim 'I will survive' Clijsters has been on a rollercoaster of a journey during her stay in the house, having her heart broken and then finding true peace and love with fellow housemates. Along the way, there was an abundance of private and public tears, deep and meaningful conversations (sometimes with other species ) and a display of courage and resilence which makes her one of the best loved housemates. Kim's softly spoken nature made her popular with all members of the household from the outset although she was at one point the target of Martina's daggers.
Kim's journey in the household began when she first found love with fellow housemate Lleyton, she was visibly heartbroken when, after a month of some of the most intense romance seen in the Big Brother house, he was evicted after the fourth week. As she had spent much of her time with him she was forced to rebuild relationships with other housemates whom she had neglected to socialise with in previous weeks. She was helped through her trauma by the intruder, Justine, who became her best friend in the house. Kim was to suffer further when she later found out that Lleyton had dismissed their relationship on the outside in what became known as Lleytongate. Broken and depressed Kim found comfort in the most unlikely source, the casanova of the house Marat and over the coming weeks the public have seen a deep and respectful relationship develop, with a tougher, more upbeat Kim prevailing. Kim the quiet one has done what the feisty Jenn and Serena failed to do and that is win the big Russians heart.
If Kim is to win Big Brother it will be due to her unwavering compassion, her innocence and regard for her fellow housemates, if she is to lose, it will be due to the public's perception of her as too needy or lacking the charisma of a true Big Brother winner.
KIM'S GREATEST HITS
* Funniest moment - Befriending the chooks
* Worst moment - Lleytongate (nuff said)
* Most devious moment - Never devious, she's too nice for that
*Raunchiest Moment - Suggesting the three-way pash between herself, marat and martina.
*Winner of the 'I will survive award' for coming through Lleytongate * Winner of the most genuine person in the house award
Best quotes : "When we first came into the house, I thought maybe their wasn't enough room in this house for everyone. I mean their heads are so big!" - Kim comments to Martina on the huge egos of many of the personalities in the house during the movie making task.
"Maybe he (lleyton) has done me favour, I had spent much of the past three weeks worried about him and our relationship. All this has made me so more determined to win and prove that I am something on my own. I don’t want to live in anyone’s shadow anymore" - Kim resolute about moving on from "lleytongate"
"I love the way you all prance around, care free. I will be care free too. No love is care free!” - Kim on the frenzied life of her beloved chooks.
"She thinks everything is against her, and many of us have felt like that during our time in the house, we should be helping her" - Kim's compassionate side, telling Justine that Martina must be helped through her hard times.
DAY 85
*Martina is gone, leaving Marat and Kim to spend the final 48 hours in the house together*
*At first the shear enormity of the situation hits Kim, who all along could not understand the public’s support for her, considering her lack of flamboyance in a house full of charismatic personalities. She weeps at the loss of Martina and the situation in general, and Marat, relieved at his survival, attempts to cheer his favourite girl up; “Come on, you are in the house with me, how can you be crying?” And he smiles the broad smile that had eased Kim through many a crisis during her heart-wrenching journey of the past 3 months. Kim wipes aware her tears and hugs him; “I am such a sook” she concludes and giggles at herself. Marat kisses her on the forehead; “Now get outside and feed those chooks of yours, you are such an irresponsible mother, they must be starving! And then you can make me a sandwich….” Kim laughs, “Listen here boy, if Martina or Monica were here they would have ripped into you for that comment. How about you and I make the sandwiches together” Marat is a bit taken back by Kim’s sudden feminist resolve and is about to make comment, but Kim puts her finger to his lip; “It could be fun….don’t think of it as domestic, think of it as survival”*
*Kim heads outside to feed her chooks and lets them out of their coop to have free rein in the garden, Marat rushes out when he sees the chooks scampering across the backyard, thinking that they have escaped “Quick Kim, they might fly away!’ Kim giggles; “Chickens can’t fly silly!” And Marat blushes an d gets defensive; “Well they have wings, how am I suppose to know that that their wings are retarded”. Kim shoots daggers at him, before she grabs his arm and says; “Lets get inside before I have to push you into the pool.”*
*The two then make sandwiches together, before they lay down for a mid afternoon rest in the living room, facing the wall where all the plaster casts of the housemates’ faces are hanging up, the two laugh at the memory of the Serena and Jenn rivalry that had led to the anarchical paint fight on that afternoon Kim reminisces; “who would have thought then, that we would be here today, on the second last day in the house as a couple. You know I thought you were such a player when I first came into the house”. Marat giggles; “What makes you think I have changed?” And he leans over and kisses her on the cheek.*
*The two share a sombre dinner, go the diary room to make their last confessions to Big Brother and then have a short jaccuzzi dip. In the bubbly Jacuzzi, the two share a glass of champagne that Big Brother has provided them as a reward for being the last two in the house, and discuss the prospect of victory; “Don’t let it change anything. Win or lose we are together babe. We should give this a go on the outside” says Marat. Kim grins; “I’m up for that”*
*Kim and Marat dry themselves off, close the chooks up into their pen and curl up in bed together for what will be there last night in the house*
